Pada 04 September 2015 Ketua DPR RI Bapak Setya Novanto dan Wakil Ketua DPR RI Bapak Fadli Zon menjadi sorotan publik setelah menghadiri press conference Donald Trump selaku bakal calon presiden Amerika Serikat. Peristiwa tersebut ikut jadi bahan pemberitaan media di media televisi Indonesia. Penelitian ini membahas penggambaran berita kehadiran dua pimpinan DPR RI dalam press conference Donald Trump di Primetime News Metro TV yang merupakan program berita media televisi yang dimiliki Ketua Umum Partai Politik Nasional Demokrat Bapak Surya Paloh sehingga mencoba menyudutkan pihak-pihak tertentu dalam menggambarkan sebuah headline berita kepada khalayak. Dari 20 tayangan berita mengenai kehadiran dua pimpinan DPR RI dalam press conference Donald Trump yang dikumpulkan pada 04 September 2015 sampai dengan 16 September 2015, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan perangkat framing model Murray Edelman, peneliti menyimpulkan adanya penggunan katakata kiasan yang berusaha mendapatkan suatu perhatian masyarakat demi kepentingan pemberitaannya. Peneliti tidak menggunakan media pembanding karena hanya Primetime News Metro TV yang melakukan kontinuitas terhadap pemberitaan ini. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan adanya framing yang dilakukan Primetime News Metro TV dalam isu pemberitaan tersebut dengan adanya kategorisasi palabelan kata-kata yang digunakan dalam headline berita. Kategorisasi tersebut dilihat dari penggunaan kata-kata kiasan untuk menarik perhatian pemirsa Primetime News Metro TV dalam isu pemberitaan ini./ On September 4, 2015 Chairman of the House of Representatives Mr. Setya Novanto and Vice Chairman of the House of Representatives Mr. Fadli Zon into the public spotlight after Donald Trump attended the press conference as US presidential candidate. The incident has come to be material in the medium of television media in Indonesia. This study discusses the portrayal of the news of the two leaders of the House of Representatives in a press conference Donald Trump in Primetime News Metro TV that the news programs of television media owned by the Chairman of Political Nasional Demokrat Parties Mr. Surya Paloh that tried to corner certain parties in describing a headline news to audiences. Of the 20 news program about the presence of the two leaders of the House of Representatives in a press conference Donald Trump collected on September 4, 2015 until 16 September 2015, and then analyzed using a framing device models Murray Edelman, the researchers concluded the use of figures of speech that are trying to get a public concern for the sake of preaching. Researchers do not use the media comparison because only Primetime News Metro TV that does continuity to this news. The results of this study prove the framing is done Primetime News Metro TV in reporting issues with their labels categorization the words used in the headlines. The categorization is seen from the use of figures of speech to attract the attention of viewers of Primetime News Metro TV in this issue.
