Abstract

Hospital patient registration application is an application that helped the patient registration process both old and new patients. This application also helps the process of changing patient s status from outpatient to inpatient, as well as assigning room for the new inpatients, the process of mutating patient's room, and also the process to queue rooms that are unavailable so that hospital can give a well managed monitoring system for room queuing. This application was built using the Java programming language with Eclipse IDE. The development of these applications starts from the collection of user's requirements. Once all the requirements are collected, the data will be processed to be determined its functions, which then will be included in the hospital application. After the entire functions are determined, it will begin to determine the workflow of the application so it can run as desired such as building its activity and class diagram. The building of the prototype using java programming language can be started after all requirements have been completed. The prototype will be developed until this prototype can fully meet the needs of the users so then can be applied to the hospital. With this application, the performance of activity that runs in the hospital can be better because of the data processing in the hospital such as addition of new patient data can be arranged on line so that the data can be connected with other divisions. The information that is presented in the application will have more details, such as the availability of authentication system, recording bed queue and the addition of bed location data that is used inpatients.
