Abstract

Tugas akhir ini membahas tentang perancangan sebuah aplikasi yang berfungsi untuk mengelola administrasi dan keuangan Smart Active and Fun (SAF). SAF merupakan tempat kursus Bahasa Inggris yang memiliki beberapa cabang diberbagai kota di Indonesia. SAF membutuhkan aplikasi baru untuk mengatasi keterbatasan dari sistem saat ini yang masih menangani proses bisnis secara manual. Kesulitan dalam mencari data yang dibutuhkan, menghasilkan laporan penjualan, dan dokumentasi yang tidak lengkap karena disebabkan oleh data yang hilang atau kesalahan dalam dokumentasi, membuat SAF ingin mengadopsi sebuah aplikasi yang dapat meminimalkan masalah tersebut. Aplikasi yang diusulkan bermaksud untuk membantu menyimpan dan mendokumentasikan data sehingga dapat dengan mudah ditemukan ketika dibutuhkan, mempercepat proses dokumentasi dan meminimalkan kesalahan. Aplikasi ini dirancang sebagai aplikasi berbasis web dengan metode prototyping. Perancangan ini meliputi analisis sistem saat ini, pengumpulan requirement dengan wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen, dan pemodelan sistem menggunakan UML 2,0 seperti activity, use case dan class. Kemudian pembangunan aplikasi dirancang menggunakan database dan antarmuka menggunakan PHP dan MySQL dengan Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 dan WampServer 2.0. Hasil dari tugas akhir ini merupakan sebuah aplikasi web yang dapat membantu SAF dalam mengelola administrasi dan keuangan yakni dengan meminimalkan kesalahan dalam pencatatan, pencarian dan mendokumentasikan data.Aplikasi ini juga membantu manager dan investor dalam memantau laporan keuangan di masing-masing cabang secara berkala dan lebih mendetail. / This final project discusses the development of an application that manages the administration and financial activities of Smart Active and Fun (SAF). SAF is an english language school which has several branches in various cities in Indonesia. SAF needs a new computerized application to overcome the limitations of the current system that manually handles the business processes. Difficulties in finding the required data, generating sales report, and incomplete documentation which are caused by missing data or errors in documentation, make SAF wants to adopt an application which can minimize those problems. The proposed application intends to help for recording and documenting the data so they can be easily retrieved when they are needed, speed up documentation processes and minimize errors The application is developed as a web-based application with prototyping methodology. The development includes analyzing the current system, requirement gathering with interviews, observation, and document analysis, and modeling the system using UML 2.0 such as activity, use case and class. It is then followed by the construction of the application including designing the database and interface using PHP and MySQL with Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 software and WampServer 2.0. The result of this final project is a web-based application that may help SAF managing administration and financial by minimizing errors in recording, searching and documenting data. The application helps manager and investor in monitoring the financial statements for each branch regularly dan detailed.
