Abstract
Dalam rangka mengurangi tingkat pengangguran di Indonesia, Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan melaksanakan program penyelarasan pendidikan dengan dunia kerja. Dalam hal ini akan dilakukan pemetaan tenaga kerja yang mengacu kepada Master Plan Perluasan dan Percepatan Pembangunan Ekonomi Indonesia (MP3EI) 2011- 2025. Sektor yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah industri batubara, dengan menggunakan data softskill dan technical skill dari Rio Tinto, dan juga kunjungan ke perusahaan transportasi batubara. Studi kasus dilakukan di PT. Transindo Makmur Sejahtera. Data yang dikumpulkan merupakan data pengalaman kerja karyawan, tingkat pendidikan, dan lokasi kerjanya. Dengan data-data tersebut, maka dilakukan perhitungan Fulfillment Index (FI) yang akan dikategorikan berdasarkan departemen, level jabatan, lama pengalaman kerja, dan tingkat pendidikan. Data softskill dan technical skill tenaga kerja batubara diperoleh dari Rio Tinto dengan tujuan mengetahui kebutuhan keahlian yang diperlukan di industri batubara. Setelah dilakukan kajian, untuk mendukung pengembangan industri batubara, technical skill yang paling dibutuhkan adalah earth science, sedangkan softskill yang paling dibutuhkan adalah work as a team. Selain itu, Setelah data diolah dan dianalisis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa karyawan-karyawan PT. Transindo Makmur Sejahtera didominasi oleh karyawan kurang kompeten. / In order to reduce the unemployment rate in Indonesia, the Ministry of Education and Culture implements educational programs alignment with the industry. The assessment of the labor requirement is conducted by referring to the Master Plan and Expansion of Indonesian Economic Development Acceleration (MP3EI) 2011-2025. The sectors examined in this study is the coal industry, using data from the soft skills and technical skills Rio Tinto, and also a visit to coal transportation company. A case study conducted in PT. Transindo Makmur Sejahtera. The data collected comprise of employment experience, education level, and work location. With these data, the calculated Fulfillment Index (FI) are categorized by department, job level, length of work experience, and education level. Soft skills and technical skills requirements are gathered from Rio Tinto Group and a local supporting industry. The result of the assessment, to support the development of coal industry, the most required technical skills is earth science, the most required softskill is teamwork. Furthermore, once the data is processed and analyzed, it was concluded that the employees of PT. Transindo Makmur Sejahtera is dominated by less competent employees
