Abstract

Dunia kerja saat ini memberikan tuntutan yang semakin berat kepada lulusan perguruan tinggi. Kemampuan hard skill yang dimiliki oleh lulusan perguruan tinggi dinilai tidak cukup, mahasiswa juga perlu untuk dapat menunjukkan kemamampuan soft skill. Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Universitas Pelita Harapan yang dibawahi oleh Student Life Department, mencoba memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut dengan menyediakan pelatihan kepemimpinan tingkat lanjut yang diberikan nama Advance Leadership Training. Pada tahun 2020, sudah menjadi tahun ke 4 diadakannya pelatihan ini. Akan tetapi, hingga saat ini belum ada evaluasi yang terstruktur mengenai efektivitas kegiatan pelatihan Advance Leadership Training. Evaluasi terstruktur adalah evaluasi yang mencakup keseluruhan faktor dalam kualitas pelatihan yang diberikan seperti fasilitas, perlengkapan, materi, metode, dan pembicara. Jika pelatihan tidak memiliki tahap evaluasi, maka sulit untuk menentukan apakah pelatihan tersebut telah memenuhi tujuan yang sudah ditetapkan sebelumnya atau bahkan apakah pelatihan tersebut menguntungkan bagi peserta maupun organisasi. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi pelatihan kepemimpinan Advance leadership Training menggunakan metode evaluasi pelatihan Kirkpatrick. Peneliti melakukan pengambilan data dengan menyebarkan kuesioner reaksi peserta terhadap sesi yang diberikan, melakukan tes sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan, melakukan pengamatan terhadap perilaku peserta selama pelatihan, dan melakukan wawancara dengan pembina organisasi selaku pengawas untuk dapat melihat hasil pelatihan Advance Leadership Training setelah enam bulan. Berdasarkan analisa yang sudah dilakukan, pelatihan Advance Leadership Training 2020 dinilai sangat efektif pada tingkat reaksi pembelajaran, dan hasil. Namun pada tingkat perilaku, perlu ditingkatkan kembali, sehingga pelatihan dapat dijalankan lebih efektif./Nowadays, the world of workplaces heavier demands on college graduates. The hard skills possessed by college graduates are deemed insufficient, students also need to be able to demonstrate soft skills abilities. Student Executive Board of Universitas Pelita Harapan, which is supervised by Student Life Department, tries to meet these needs by providing a leadership training called Advanced Leadership Training. In 2020, will be the 4th year this training has been held. However, until now there has been no structured evaluation of the effectiveness of Advance Leadership Training activities. Structed evaluation means the overall rating of the quality of care given in the training such as facilities, equipment, material, training’s method, and trainer. If the training does not have an evaluation phase, it is difficult to determine whether the training has met the stated objectives or even whether the training is beneficial for the participants in the organization. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate Advanced Leadership Training using the Kirkpatrick training evaluation method. Researcher collected data using a questionnaire about participant reaction to the given sessions, conducted pretest and posttest, observer participant’s behaviour through the training, and conducted interviews with the student organization’s supervisor. Based on the analysis that have been done, Advance Leadership Training is considered very effective at the reaction, learning, and result levels. However, at the level of behavior, it needs to be improved again, so that training can be carried out more effectively.
