Abstract

Metro Stationary merupakan toko yang berlokasi di Jakarta yang menjual alat tulis kantor. Saat ini Metro Stationary masih menerapkan cara manual dalam proses bisnisnya. Pencatatan data hanya mengandalkan pengumpulan catatan saja. Pemesanan barang hanya bisa dilakukan di toko atau via telepon. Penghitungan harga total pesanan masih dilakukan secara manual dengan menggunakan kalkulator. Selain itu, biaya pengiriman sulit untuk dihitung karena tidak ada referensi atau biaya pengiriman yang digunakan. Akibatnya, terdapat permasalahan pada sistem saat ini yaitu banyaknya data yang hilang, terbatasnya jangkauan toko Metro Stationary ke pelanggan baru, waktu dan tenaga yang dihabiskan untuk menghitung total harga pesanan, dan kerugian jika dilakukan biaya pengiriman. tidak sesuai dengan jarak toko dari lokasi pengiriman. Dalam menjawab permasalahan yang ditemukan, tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem penjualan berbasis web yang dapat membantu Metro Stationary dan pelanggan dalam memberikan proses transaksi jual beli yang efektif dan efisien. Sistem yang diusulkan dikembangkan dengan metode prototyping dan pemodelan sistem dirancang menggunakan UML 2.5 yang meliputi use case, activity, class, dan table relationship diagrams. Terakhir, pada tahap pemrograman sistem dilakukan pemrograman dengan menggunakan HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, framework CodeIgniter dan MySQL sebagai sistem manajemen database. Hasil dari tugas akhir ini adalah suatu sistem informasi penjualan berbasis web yang memberikan kemudahan bagi pelanggan untuk memesan barang (tidak termasuk pembayaran), serta bagi admin untuk mengelola data-data penting yang dibutuhkan oleh pengelola toko dan juga menyediakan fitur untuk menghitung harga total pesanan beserta biaya pengirimannya. Sistem ini nantinya akan menjadi acuan bagi pemilik Metro Stationary untuk pengembangan sistem selanjutnya./ Metro Stationary is a store located at Jakarta that sells office stationery. Currently, Metro Stationary still practices manual methods in its business processes. Data recording only relies on records collection activity only. Ordering goods can only be made at the store or via telephone. The calculation of the total order price is still done manually using a calculator. In addition, shipping costs are difficult to calculate because there is no reference or shipping costs used. As a result, there are problems with the current system, namely the amount of lost data, the limited reach of the Metro Stationary store to new customers, the time and effort spent calculating the total price of the order, and losses if shipping costs do not match the store's distance from the delivery location. In answering the problems found, this final project aims to develop a webbased sales system that can assist Metro Stationary and customers in providing an effective and efficient buying and selling transaction process. The proposed system was developed using the prototyping method and the system modeling was designed using UML 2.5, involving use case, activity, class, and table relationship diagrams. Finally, at the system programming stage, programming was carried out using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, CodeIgniter framework and MySQL as the database management system. The result of this final project is a web-based sales information system that makes it easy for customers to order goods (excluding payments), as well as for the admin to manage important data needed by store manager and also provides a feature to calculate the total price of an order along with its shipping cost. This system will eventually become a reference for Metro Stationary owner for further system development.
