Abstract
P.T. SCG Readymix Indonesia is a foreign company operating in
Indonesia to serve ready-mix concrete for construction projects. Before the
acquisition by the Thailand-based SCG holding company, the company was
known as P.T. Jayamix, a subsidiary P.T. Pembangunan Jaya. Indonesia has seen
the high demand of ready-mix concrete since year 2000, especially triggered by a
lot of infrastructure projects initiated by the government. This, in turn, also
encouraged more companies to enter the ready-mix concrete industry in
Indonesia. As the competition became tighter, the need to satisfy customers
became even more important for the ready-mix concrete companies.
This research aims at identifying the most important faktors for the
customers of P.T. SCG Readymix Indonesia, especially those responsible for
various construction projects in the greater Jakarta area, that influence their
satisfaction. Based on observation and literature study, the research
questionnaire was developed and then distributed to respondents, that is, the
customers of P.T. SCG Readymix Indonesia in the greater Jakarta area who were
responsible and involved directly in the construction phase of the projects.
Data collected from the questionnaires sent back by the respondents were
processed and analyzed using SPSS. The findings of this research includes The
Research methodology using qualitative and quantitative approachment for
processing primary data secondary data.
This reseasrch found that the costumer of PT.SRMI not satisfied yet, it can
be express by value of CSI 90,1%. This researh also found that some factors
directly have influence into costumer satisfaction indeks of PT.SRMI, it can be
express by linearity regression by the value of r adjusted as much as 0,841.
By this complete research hope can contribute recommendation for
company to make continuous improvement to improve service quality to customer.
Generally for public and customer, this research hope can be representation of
company performance to satisfying costumer for successfully construction
process. / PT.SCG Readymix Indonesia (PT.SRMI) merupakan salah satu
perusahaan Pemodal Asing (PMA) yang bergerak di bidang pengadaan material
beton siap pakai.(readymix) Sebelum diakuisisi oleh grup SCG dari Thailand,
perusahaan ini dahulu bernama PT.Jayamix yang merupakan anak usaha
PT.Pembangunan Jaya. Kemudian terjadi lonjakan cepat bertumbuhnya proyekproyek infrastruktur di Indonesia pada dekade tahun 2000, menyebabkan lahir dan
berkembangnya perusahaan-perusahaan penyedia beton siap pakai (Readymix
Concrete) lainnya. Dengan semakin ketatnya persaingan usaha di industri beton
masa kini, penelitian ini memandang perlu dilakukannya penilaian mengenai
tingkat kepuasan pelanggan dalam proses pelaksanaan konstruksi.
Sebagai perusahaan penyedia beton tertua di Indonesia, diperlukan adanya
usaha untuk mempertahankan pangsa pasar yang sudah terbangun sejak lama.
Permasalahan penelitian secara keseluruhan yaitu: mengkaji potret proyek-proyek
di area Jabodetabek yang menggunakan produk PT SCG Readymix,
mengidentifikasi faktor dan variabel kepuasan pelanggan PT SCG Readymix,
menganalisis pengaruh kepuasan pelanggan dalam meningkatkan kinerja proyek
yang menggunakan produk PT SCG Readymix dan memberikan rekomendasi
improvement dari persepsi kontraktor dalam meningkatkan kualitas produk PT
SCG Readymix. Secara khusus penelitian ini akan membahas permasalahan
mengkaji potret proyek-proyek di area Jabodetabek yang menggunakan produk
PT SCG Readymix, mengidentifikasi faktor dan variabel kepuasan pelanggan
produk PT SCG Readymix.
Beberapa penelitian, literatur dan kajian pustaka yang relevan yang akan
dikaji dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: Total Quality Management (Quality Planning,
Quality Control, Quality Assurance), Proses Konstruksi, Service Quality, Peran
Kontraktor, , PT. SCG Readymix, dan hasil penelitian yang relevan dalam 10
tahun terakhir.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian yang dimulai dari
identifikasi permasalahan penelitian, analisis penelitian, kajian research findings,
rekomendasi yang diharapkan untuk menghasilkan improvement yang diperlukan.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif
dan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis data primer dan sekunder.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa sejauh ini
pelanggan PT.SRMI belum merasa puas dengan pelayanan yang diberikan oleh
PT.SRMI.hal ini tercermin dari nilai rata-rata kepuasan pelanggan sebesar 90,1 %,
hal ini menandakan bahwa kinerja yang diberikan PT.SRMI hanya memenuhi
90,1% dari harapan pelanggan. Hal lain yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini jugaii
terdapat faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan PT.SRMI,
hal ini tercermin melalui model matematis regressi linier dengan r sebesar 0,841.
Melalui penelitian ini secara lengkap diharapkan akan menghasilkan
rekomendasi bagi perusahaan untuk melakukan continous improvement dan
meningkatkan kualitas layanannya terhadap pelanggan. Secara umum untuk
khalayak ramai dan pengguna jasa perusahaan, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat
memberikan gambaran mengenai kinerja perusahaan dalam memenuhi harapan
pelanggan dalam rangka keberhasilan pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi.
