West Sumatra is one of the areas that the government focuses on infrastructure development especially on land transportation. In the high demand of contractors to complete the infrastructure projects, issues from quality performance of contractor is a concern, as the contractors should have implementing the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. So, the research conducted to find out what indicators can affect the implementation of ISO 9001 towards the quality performance of contractor, what are the components from ISO 9001 Quality Management System that affect the quality performance of contractor, are there any obstacles, and what kind of improvement action should be done so that ISO 9001 can give an improvement to the company. With the help of reviewing the literature from Quality Management System, ISO 9001:2015, Contractor Performance, Infrastructure Project, Potrait of Contractor in Indonesia, and Relevant Researches will be the basis of this analysis to answers the problems of this research. Analysis performed with mix method and the research instrument is in the form of questionnaire which will be analyzed with SPSS program. 39 respondents filled the questionnaire have a minimum of 3 years working experience and from all level of management. The results shows that the indicators that can affect the quality performance of contractor are: the company’s reason for implementing ISO 9001, how well the company’s implementing the ISO 9001:2015 requirements, and the obstacles of implementing ISO 9001. Determining parties who concerned and relevant to the quality management system in a company and improving the suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness of the quality management system are the compponents from ISO 9001:2015 that affect the quality performance of contractor. A less supportive organizational culture is an obstacle from implementing ISO 9001. And improvement actions that can be done: establishing the parties who concerned; monitoring and reviewing information about interested parties and requirements relevant to them; determining: the limits to be allowed, normative limits, managerial style, processes and procedures of work; creating the sense of belonging, identity, and emotional connection between the organization and the workers that involved in the company. / Sumatera Barat merupakan salah satu daerah yang yang menjadi fokus pemerintah dalam pengembangan infrastruktur khususnya pada transportasi darat. Dalam kebutuhan akan kontraktor yang tinggi untuk menyelesaikan proyek-proyek infrastruktur yang sedang berkembang pesat, masalah mengenai kinerja mutu perusahaan kontraktor menjadi perhatian. Hal ini menjadi suatu perhatian mengingat bahwa setiap perusahaan kontraktor yang mengerjakan proyek infrastruktur telah diwajibkan untuk menjalankan sistem manajemen mutu ISO 9001. Sehingga dilakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui indikator-indikator apa yang dapat mempengaruhi penerapan SMM ISO 9001 terhadap kinerja mutu perusahaan, apa saja komponen-komponen dalam SMM ISO 9001 yang mempengaruhi kinerja mutu perusahaan, apakah terdapat kendala dalam penerapan SMM ISO 9001, dan apa saja langkah-langkah peningkatan yang dapat diberikan dalam penerapan SMM ISO 9001 dalam perusahaan kontraktor pada proyek infrastruktur di Sumatera Barat. Dilakukan kajian pustaka tentang Sistem Manajemen Mutu, ISO 9001:2015, Kinerja Mutu Perusahaan Kontraktor, Proyek Infrastruktur, Potret Perusahaan Kontraktor di Indonesia, dan Penelitian-penelitian yang relevan sebagai dasar analisis penelitian. Analisis dilakukan dengan metode campuran dengan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner dan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS. Responden pada penelitian berjumlah 39 orang dengan persyaratan pengalaman kerja minimal 3 tahun dari seluruh tingkat manajemen. Dari hasil analisis, didapatkan bahwa: alasan perusahaan menerapkan SMM ISO 9001;penilaian penerapan persyaratan ISO 9001:2015 dalam perusahaan; dan kendala yang dialami perusahaan dalam menerapkan ISO 9001 merupakan indikator yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja mutu perusahaan. Menetapkan pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan dan relevan dengan sistem manajemen mutu; melakukan peningkatan kesesuaian, kecukupan, dan efektivitas dari sistem manajemen mutu merupakan komponen-komponen dari ISO 9001 yang memberikan manfaat terhadap kinerja mutu perusahaan, Budaya organisasi yang kurang mendukung merupakan kendala yang dialami dalam menerapkan ISO 9001, dan Langkah-langkah perbaikan yang dapat dilakukan antara lain: menetapkan persyaratan dari pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan; memantau dan meninjau informasi tentang pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan dan persyaratan yang relevan dengan mereka; menentukan batas-batas yang boleh dilakukan, batas-batas normatif, gaya manajerial, proses-proses dan prosedur-prosedur kerja, menciptakan rasa memiliki, jati diri, dan keterkaitan emosional antara organisasi dan pekerja yang terlibat didalamnya.
