Tuberkulosis merupakan infeksi akut atau kronis yang disebabkan oleh Bakteri Mycobacterium Tuberculosis, penyakit ini dapat disembuhkan dalam waktu enam bulan, namun keadaan ini juga bisa menimbulkan tekanan psikologi dan mengganggu konsep diri pada pasien Tuberkulosis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran konsep diri pada pasien tuberkulosis di Satu Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia Bagian Tengah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 19 pasien tuberkulosis. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner karakteristik dan konsep diri. Analisa data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan univariat. Hasil penelitian diketahui 63,2% responden berumur >46 tahun, 74% berjenis kelamin laki-laki, 37% responden tidak bekerja, 64% berpendidikan SMA, 89,6% responden dalam kategori pasien baru, 63% responden melakukan pengobatan >3 bulan. 52.6% pasien memiliki konsep diri positif. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa konsep diri pasien tuberkulosis dalam kategori baik yaitu 10 responden (52,6%). Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan melibatkan sampel yang lebih besar dan sebaiknya menambahkan variabel yang mempengaruhi pasien Tuberkulosis = Tuberculosis is an acute or chronic infection caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium Tuberculosis, this disease can be cured in six months, but this condition can also cause psychological distress and interfere patient’s selfconcept. The purpose of this study is to know the description of self-concept in tuberculosis patients in one of the private hospital in central Indonesia. This research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique that we used is by using purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 19 tuberculosis patients.. The measuring instrument that we used in this study uses a characteristic and self-concept questionnaire. Data analysis in this study uses univariate analysis. The results of the study is 63.2% of respondents aged >46 years, 74% were male, 37% of respondents did not work, 64% had a high school education, 89.6% of respondents were in the new patient category, 63% of respondents treated >3 months. 52.6% of patients have a positive selfconcept. From this study it can be concluded that the self-concept of tuberculosis patients in the good category is 10 respondents (52.6%). Suggestions for researchers are then expected to involve larger samples and should add variables that affect Tuberculosis patients.
