Abstract

Alat pelindung diri adalah seperangkat alat yang digunakan oleh tenaga kerja untuk melindungi seluruh atau sebagian tubuhnya terhadap kemungkinan adanya potensi bahaya atau kecelakaan kerja. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan peneliti selama satu minggu di ruang rawat inap, terdapat 7 (tujuh) dari 10 (sepuluh) perawat yang diamati tidak patuh terhadap penggunaan sarung tangan dalam tindakan pemasangan infus dan pengambilan darah. Menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kepatuhan perawat dalam menggunakan sarung tangan di ruang rawat inap di satu Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia Bagian Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat ruang rawat inap yang berjumlah 30 orang. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik total sampling sehingga semua populasi yang ada digunakan sebagai sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian untuk pengambilan data adalah instrumen kuesioner atau angket. Uji Chi Square pada pengetahuan nilai pvalue=0,88>0,05 (tidak ada hubungan), pada sikap nilai p-value=0,654>0,05 (tidak ada hubungan), dan pada pendidikan nilai p-value=0,024<0,05 (ada hubungan), masa kerja p-value=0,033<0,05 (ada hubungan). Tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan, sikap, terhadap kepatuhan perawat tetapi ada hubungan antara masa kerja dan pendidikan dengan kepatuhan perawat di ruang rawat inap di satu Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia bagian Tengah. Peneliti mengharapkan agar peneliti selanjutnya dapat juga meneliti hubungan kepatuhan dengan faktor lain selain pengetahuan, sikap, pendidikan dan masa kerja = Personal protective equipment is a set of tools used by the workforce to protect all or part of its body against potential hazards or workplace accidents. Based on observations made by researchers for one week in the inpatient room, there were 7 (seven) out of 10 (ten) nurses who were observed to be disobedient to the use of gloves in the action of infusion and blood collection. Analyze the factors that influence the nurse's compliance in using the self-protection glove tool in the Indonesian Central Private Hospital admissions ward. This research uses quantitative descriptive correlational research method with cross sectional approach. The population in this study is all nurses inpatient room which amounted to 30 people. The sample technique used is the total sampling technique so that all existing populations are used as samples. Instruments used in research for data collection is a questionnaire or questionnaire instrument. Shapiro-Wilk test on the variable length of work resulted p-value = 0,527> 0,05 (no relationship). Chi-Square test on the knowledge of p-value = 0.88> 0.05 (no relationship), on the attitude of p-value = 0.654> 0.05 (no relationship), and on education p-value = 0.148 > 0.05 (no relationship). There is no relationship between knowledge, attitudes, education and tenure of nurse compliance in the inpatient wards of Central Indonesia Private Hospital. The researcher hopes that further researchers can also examine the relationship of compliance with factors other than knowledge, attitude, education and years of service.
