Abstract

Beban kerja perawat adalah kemampuan tubuh seorang perawat dalam menerima tanggung jawab untuk mengerjakan suatu pekerjaan. Kinerja adalah prestasi yang dicapai dari kemampuan kerja yang dilakukan. Beban kerja merupakan unsur yang harus diperhatikan untuk mendapatkan keserasian dan produktifitas kerja yang tinggi. Apabila beban kerja yang harus ditanggung oleh perawat melebihi dari kapasitasnya, akan berdampak buruk bagi produktifitas kerja. Kinerja perawat yang sesuai dengan standar asuhan keperawatan akan menjamin tingginya mutu pelayanan keperawatan kepada pasien.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan beban kerja dengan kinerja perawat di ruang rawat inap salah satu Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia Bagian Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif korelasional. Penelitian menggunakan teknik total sampling yang dimana jumlah sampel sama dengan jumlah populasi yaitu 41 responden. Analisa data dengan menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukan beban kerja dengan kategori rendah sebanyak 21 responden (51%) dan kategori tinggi sebanyak 20 responden (49%), responden yang memiliki kinerja rendah sebanyak 23 responden (65%) dan kinerja tinggi sebanyak 18 responden (44%). Nilai uji Chi-square yaitu 0,536 menunjukan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara beban kerja dengan kinerja perawat pelaksana di satu Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia bagian barat. Bagi manajemen rumah sakit agar dapat melakukan suatu program pendidikan atau pelatihan dan mengevaluasi kembali kebutuhan tenaga perawat, bagi instutisi pendidikan agar dapat menjadikan penelitian ini sebagai tambahan perbendaharaan perpustakaan, bagi peneliti selanjutnya agar melakukan kajian lebih dalam mengenai faktor penyebab beban kerja dan kinerja perawat = A nurse's workload is a nurse's body's ability to accept responsibility for doing a job. Performance is an accomplishment achieved from the ability of work done. Workload is an element that must be considered to get harmonious and high work productivity. If the workload to be borne by the nurse exceeds its capacity, it will have a negative impact on work productivity. The performance of nurses in accordance with the standards of nursing care will ensure the high quality of nursing services to patients. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between workload with the performance of nurses in the inpatient ward of one West Indonesia Private Hospital. This research uses correlational quantitative descriptive method. The study used total sampling technique in which the number of samples equals the total population of 41 respondents. Data analysis using chisquare test. The results showed low workload with 21 people (51%) and high category (20% (49%), 23 respondents (65%) and high performance (18%). Chisquare test value that is 0,536 indicates that there is no relation between work load with the performance of nurse executor in west Indonesia’s Private Hospitals. For hospital management to be able to conduct an education or training program and re-evaluate the needs of nursing staff, for educational institutions to make this research as an additional library treasury, for further researchers to conduct a deeper study of the causes of workload and nurse performance.
