Abstract

Hepatitis B merupakan tipe hepatitis yang berbahaya, penyakit ini lebih sering menular dibandingkan hepatitis jenis lainnya. Virus hepatitis B 100 kali lebih infeksius, yakni lebih berpotensi menyebabkan infeksi dibandingkan virus HIV karena masa tunasnya cukup pendek, yaitu sekitar 3 bulan (Sari, Indrawati, & Djing, 2008). Angka kunjungan pasien rawat inap, rawat jalan, emergency dengan hepatitis B di satu Rumah Sakit Swasta di Indonesia bagian Tengah tahun 2017 cukup tinggi. Di rumah sakit tenaga non kesehatan memiliki risiko terpapar cairan tubuh pasien yang sudah terinfeksi hepatitis B. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan tenaga kerja non kesehatan di satu Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia bagian Tengah terhadap penularan hepatitis B. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh tenaga non kesehatan di satu rumah sakit swasta Indonesia bagian Tengah yang berjumlah 96 orang, dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 58 orang. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah analisa univariat. Hasil penelitian ini: sebanyak (15%) reponden memiliki pengetahuan tinggi, sebanyak (69,0%) memiliki pengetahuan sedang, dan sebanyak (15,5%) responden memiliki pengetahuan tingkat rendah. Perlu informasi seperti seminar bagi seluruh tenaga non kesehatan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang penularan hepatitis B = Hepatitis B is a dangerous type of hepatitis, infectious disease more often than other types of hepatitis. Viral hepatitis B is 100 times more infectious, i.e. more potentially cause infection than HIV because his buds are quite short, which is about 3 months (cider, Indrawati, & Djing, 2008). The number of visits the patient hospitalization, outpatient, emergency with hepatitis B in in one of the central Indonesian private hospitals is quite high. In the hospitals, non-health workers have a risk of exposure to body fluids of patients already infected with hepatitis b. This study was conducted to determine the knowledge of non-health workers in one of the central private hospitals on the transmission of hepatitis B. This research used descriptive quantitative research method. This sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The population in this study were all non-health workers in one of the central private hospitals 96 people,, and the sample of the study amounted to 58 people. Data analysis technique used is univariate analysis. The results of the study were : Most (15,5%) of respondents had a high level of knowledge, most (69,0%) had a medium level, and most (15,5%) respondents had a low level of knowledge. Necessary information such as seminar for all non health worker to improve knowledge about transmission of hepatitis B.
