Abstract

Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan mencari faktor-faktor lain yang dapat memengaruhi kepatuhan perawat dalam menjalankan sistem Early Warning Score (EWS) = Nurses in providing nursing care should conduct a focused assessment and observe vital signs to evaluate and assess the risk of deterioration of the patient, detect and respond by activating an emergency call. The Early Warning Score (EWS) System is a request for help to identify patient problems early, measured using seven parameters to determine the patient's clinical activation response. The purpose of research to know the relationship of knowledge and compliance nurses in performing of Early Warning Score system one of Private Hospital in West Indonesia. This research uses quantitative research method through cross sectional approach. The population is 60 nurses working in inpatient ward, the amount of samples is 30 nurses, and using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis uses bivariate analysis data using fisher test. The result of this research showed that p value 0.702 (p > 0.05) indicates thereis no relationship between knowledge level and compliance level of nurse on the performing early warning score (EWS) system. Researcher expect to the next researcher to be able to find other factors the can affect the compliance of nurses on performing the early warning score (EWS).
