Abstract

Masa remaja adalah masa transisi dari anak-anak ke dewasa. Pada masa ini, remaja akan bertemu dengan pengalaman yang mungkin akan merugikan mereka dalam hal psikologis dan sebagainya. Salah satu tantangan yang cukup umum di kalangan remaja tersebut adalah perundungan. Perundungan memiliki beberapa efek negatif pada remaja seperti stress, depresi, nilai akademik rendah, dan sebagainya. Karena menerima dampak negatif, diperlukan resiliensi yang tinggi, yaitu kemampuan untuk bangkit kembali setelah bertemu dengan masalah tertentu. Hal ini dapat ditingkatkan melalui pola asuh orang tua yang merupakan faktor eksternal penting dalam meningkatkan resiliensi. Terdapat tiga macam pola asuh, yaitu otoritarian, permisif, dan otoritatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah Jabodetabek di mana sampel penelitian berusia 12 hingga 20 tahun (N=52). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah uji korelasi dan regresi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa hanya ayah otoritatif yang memiliki hubungan (r=.357, p=.009) dan pengaruh (Y = 10.023 + .163 X) terhadap resiliensi remaja yang mengalami perundungan. Hal ini dikarenakan aspek pola asuh otoritatif yang memiliki jalur komunikasi dua arah antara orang tua dengan anak, dan juga memberi anak kesempatan untuk memecahkan masalah dengan kompetensi dirinya sendiri beserta pelajaran yang sudah diberi oleh orang tua mereka. Ayah sendiri memiliki keunggulan dalam meningkatkan resiliensi dikarenakan ayah merupakan sosok yang dituju untuk meminta saran dan juga figure yang lebih memiliki otoritas. Tidak ditemukan hubungan dan pengaruh dengan pola asuh yang lain dengan resiliensi mungkin karena faktor yang mempengaruhi resiliensi seperti dukungan sosial dan sifat kehangatan dari orang tua. / Adolescence is the transitional period from childhood to adulthood. In this period, adolescents will face certain experience that may harm them psychologically and more. One of the most common phenomenon is bullying. Bullying have various negative effect on adolescents such as stress, depression, por academic achievement, and more. With such effect, adolescents need high resilience, which is the ability to bounce back from adverse experience. This can be achieved through parenatal authority as an important external factor in increasing child’s resilience. There are three types of parental authority, which are authoritarian, permissive, and authoritative. This research was done in Jabodetabek among samples aged 12 to 20 (N=52). Research methods used are correlation and regression testing. Result shows that only authoritative father have correlation (r=.357, p=.009) and effect (Y = 10.023 + .163 X) on resilience of bullied adolescents. Finding suggest that this is due to the nature of authoritative parenting style that have two-way-communication between parents and children, and that it provides children with the opportunity to solve problems by themselves, balanced with enough guidance from parents. Father have the advantage of being the figure who child goes to for advice and as the figure with more authority. No correlation and effect was found between other parental authority towards resilience maybe due to other factors affecting resilience such as societal support and warmth from parents.
