Abstract

Latar Belakang: National Early Warning System (NEWS) adalah sistem skoring pendeteksian dini untuk mendeteksi adanya perburukan keadaan pasien. Perburukan keadaan pasien mengaharuskan dilakukannya tindakan yang tepat untuk mencegah penurunanan kondisi pasien lebih lanjut. Perawat memegang peranan besar dalam memantau kondisi pasien, dengan menggunakan parameter NEWS maka perawat diharapkan juga dapat menjalankan respon klinis sesuai dengan penilaian NEWS pada setiap pasien. Fenomena yang terjadi adalah masih rendahnya pelaksanaan Clinical response perawat yaitu 67% di Rumah Sakit Siloam Bali. Tujuan: Mengidentifikasi pelaksanaan respon klinis perawat berdasarkan penilaian NEWS pada setiap pasien berdasarkan Standar Operasional Praktek (SOP) rumah sakit. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dan studi dokumentasi dengan menggunakan tehnik total sampling. Total sampel adalah 35 perawat di Rumah Sakit Siloam Bali. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi checklist dan memakai analisa univariat. Hasil: Diperoleh hasil dalam pelaksanaan NEWS berdasarkan clinical response perawat didapatkan dari 35 responden 63% terlaksana dan 37% tidak terlaksana di Rumah Sakit Siloam Bali dari tanggal bulan November 2017 sampai bulan Desember 2017 . Saran: Dari hasil penelitian yang masih belum 100% terlaksana sesuai SOP rumah sakit, maka rumah sakit perlu meningkatkan pelaksanaan SOP NEWS yang telah ada dengan melakukan pelatihan, seminar, pendidikan kesehatan dan seminar / Background: The National Early Warning Score is an early detection scoring system for deterioration of the patient’s state. The deterioration of the pastien’s condition makes the appropriate action to the heal further patient condition downturn. The nurse maintains a large role in monitoring the condition of the patient, using NEWS parameters, the nurse is also expected according to the NEWS assessment for each patient. The phenomenon that accours is still the low clinical execution of the nursing responsethat is 67% at Siloam Hospitals Bali. Objective: To identify emergency response to patients. Method: This research uses descriptive quantitative and documentation study with total sample technique. The total sample is 35 nurses at Siloam Hospitals Bali. Data collecting using checklist observation and using univariate analysis. The result: of research which have been obtained from 35 respondents 63% performed and 37% not performed at Siloam Hospital Bali on November, 2017 until December, 2017. NEWS implementation based on nurse clinical response obtained. From the result of the study, the hospital needs to be improved the implementation of existing SOP NEWS by conducting training, seminars, health education and seminars.
