Abstract

Jatuh merupakan penyebab penyebab utama cedera non-fatal pada anak usia 0 sampai dengan 19 tahun dan juga merupakan penyebab utama pasien cedera di rumah sakit di Amerika Serikat. Rumah sakit menerapkan IPSG (International Patient Safety Goals) sebagai upaya untuk mencegah terjadinya kejadian pasien jatuh dengan menerapkan intervensi risiko jatuh. Informasi mengenai IPSG sudah disediakan oleh rumah sakit Siloam Sriwijaya Palembang, baik secara lisan maupun tertulis, sehingga perawat dianggap sudah memiliki pengetahuan mengenai intervensi risiko jatuh. Namun penerapan intervensi risiko jatuh di rumah sakit mengalami penurunan dan masih ada kejadian pasien anak jatuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran tingkat pengetahuan perawat tentang intervensi risiko jatuh pasien anak di Ruang Chrysant Siloam Sriwijaya Palembang. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah perawat yang bekerja di Ruang Chrysant Siloam Sriwijaya Palembang. Sampel penelitian adalah seluruh perawat berjumlah 27 perawat. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dengan nilai valid 0,515-0,968 dan nilai reliabilitas 0,968. Berdasarkan analisa univariat, didapatkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan perawat di Ruang Chrysant Siloam Sriwijaya Palembang dengan kriteria baik adalah 20,83%, cukup adalah 54,17 %, dan kurang adalah 25%. Tingkat pengetahuan perawat tentang intervensi risiko jatuh pasien anak di Ruang Chrysant Siloam Sriwijaya Palembang secara keseluruhan berada pada kriteria cukup dengan persentase yang paling besar, yaitu 54,17% / Falling is the leading cause of non-fatal in children aged 0 to 19 years old and is also the leading of patient’s injury in the hospitals in the United States. Hospitals applying IPSG (International Patient Safety Goals) as an effort to reduce the fall incidence by pulled over the fall risk interventions. The information about IPSG has been provided by Siloam Sriwijaya Palembang Hospital, both orally and in writing, so that the nurse already has the knowledge about the fall risk interventions. But it turns out the application of the fall risk intervention decrease and the incidence of child patients falling still happened. This study aims to describe the level of nurses knowledge about the fall risk interventions in Chrysant Siloam Sriwijaya Palembang. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The study population was nurses who worked in the Chrysant Siloam Sriwijaya Palembang. The study sample was all the 27 nurses. The instrument used is a questionnaire with a valid value 0.515-0.968 and reliability value 0.968. Based on univariate analysis, the level of knowledge of nurses in Chrysant Siloam Sriwijaya Palembang with good criterion is 20,83%, enough is 54,17%, and less is 25%. The level of nurses knowledge about the fall risk interventions in Chrysant Siloam Sriwijaya Palembang as a whole is on the criteria enough with the largest percentage, ie 54.17%.
