Damanik, S. M., Susilaningsi, F. S., & Amrulla, A. A. (2012) Infeksi nosokomial merupakan masalah besar yang dihadapi rumah sakit dan dapat disebarkan melalui kontak tangan. Damanik, S. M., Susilaningsi, F. S., & Amrulla, A. A. (2012) Hand hygine merupakan salah satu cara yang paling sederhana dan efektif untuk mencegah infeksi nosokomial. Elies Ernawati, Asih Tri R, Satra Wiyanto (2014) Hand hygine adalah mencuci tangan menggunakan antiseptic pencuci tangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Mengetahui apa saja faktor-faktor yang menjadi penyebab kurangnya tingkat kepatuhan dalam mencuci tangan. Metode Pencarian dan pengumpulan data menggunakan beberapa database yaitu portal garuda dan google scholar 3 kata kunci yaitu tingkat kepatuhan, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi, cuci tangan. Di rumah sakit Siloam Manado, kepatuhan mencuci tangan berdasarkan hasil audit pada dua tahun terakhir yang dilakukan diseluruh ruang rawat inap di lantai 5 adalah pada tahun 2015 sebesar 66,41% dan pada tahun 2016 terjadi peningkatan yang hanya mencapai 76,35%. Factor-faktor yang memengaruhi tingkat kepatuhan perawat dalam mencuci tangan terbagi dari faktor internal yaitu Pengetahuan, Usia, Pendidikan, dan Lama kerja dan faktor eksternal yaitu Fasilitas dan Kurangnya ketersediaan tenaga kerja. Rumah sakit perlu untuk mengupayakan jumlah dan beban tenaga kerja yang seimbang, serta menyediakan fasilitas cuci tangan yang mendukung seperti poster menginformasikan mencuci tangan yang baik dan benar (6 langkah cuci tangan) dan menyediakan hand rub yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan karena hal ini berdampak terhadap peluang perawat melakukan hand hygiene / Damanik, S. The purpose of this research is to know what are the factors that cause the lack of compliance level in hand washing. Methods Search and collect data using several databases ie garuda portal and google scholar 3 keywords that is level of compliance, influencing factors, hand washing. In Siloam Manado hospital, handwashing compliance based on the audit result in the last two years conducted in all inpatient ward on the 5th floor was in 2015 at 66.41% and in 2016 there was an increase of only 76.35%. Factors that influence the level of nurse compliance in hand washing are divided from internal factors such as Knowledge, Age, Education, and Length of work and external factors ie Facilities and Lack of labor availability. Hospitals need to seek equal numbers and workloads, and provide hand-washing facilities such as posters informing good handwashing (6 handwashing steps) and providing hand rub according to need as this has an impact on opportunities nurses do hand hygiene.
