Abstract

Saran peneliti selanjutnya perlu dilakukan penelitian action research atau quasi experiment sehingga dapat diketahui lebih mendalam dan akurat terkait faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kelengkapan pengakajian awal keperawatan / One of the elements of the performance assessment of the nurses of the executor is the recording or documentation as the responsibility of the nursing care provider. Nurses are not only required to improve the quality of services, but also required to be able to document care nursing correctly. Objective To identify the nurse's workload relationship with the completeness of the initial nursing assessment at the Siloam Hospital Makassar hospital ward. Design of this research is quantitative correlation design with cross sectional approach. The population in this study is nurses in the inpatient room as many as 115 people. The sample used accidental sampling method, to measure workload is using work sampling method and for completeness of assessment using observation sheet based on patient assessment form newly signed in SHMK. Data analysis using gamma test. The result of univariate analysis showed that most of them were in heavy work load category that is 60%. Initial assessment of nursing is mostly incomplete category which is 60% significant relation between nurses work load with completeness of nursing initial assessment at inpatient room Siloam Hospital Makassar (pvalue = 0,002) with contingency coefficient (r) 0,504, it means having strong correlation level . The next researcher suggestions need to do research research or quasi experiment so that it can be known more deeply and accurately related factors that affect the completeness of initial assessment of nursing.
