Abstract

Nurse compliance is a nurse’s behavior as a professional against a suggestion, procedure or rule that must be performed or obeyed. Behavior of nurse hand hygiene is one factor that has great influence on prevention of nosocomial infection (INOS) in hospitals. Hand hygiene is part of a strategy and isolation of preventive measures and a multifaceted core strategy to prevent specific types of infections. Hand hygine five moments have been identified as critical times in hand hygiene during patient care before contact with patients before performing a clean or septic action procedure, after risk of exposure to body fluids, after contact with patient, after contact with the patient’s surroundings . The purpose of this research is to see the picture of nurse compliance in doing hand hygiene five moments at the inpatient room of Siloam Hospital Denpasar. This research uses quantitative descriptive approach method with cross-sectional approach of sampling technique using accidental sampling with number of nurses 32 people in Inpatient Department of Inpatient Department I, Inpatient Department II and Inpatient Department III. He results of the compliance percentage moments 1 is 31,3%, moments 2 is 87,5%, moments 3 is 100%, moments 4 65,6% and the moments 5 is 56,3%. Overall compliance nurse hand hygiene five moments is 68,12% is high. Analysis processing using computerized. Data analysis using univariate / Kepatuhan perawat adalah perilaku perawat sebagai seorang yang profesional terhadap suatu anjuran, prosedur atau peraturan yang harus dilakukan atau ditaati. Perilaku hand hygiene perawat merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempunyai pengaruh besar terhadap pencegahan terjadinya infeksi nosokomial (INOS) di rumah sakit. Hand hygiene adalah bagian dari strategi dan isolasi tindakan pencegahan dan inti multifaset strategi untuk mencegah jenis spesifik dari infeksi. Hand hygine five moments telah teridentifikasi sebagai waktu yang kritikal dalam melakukan hand hygiene selama perawatan pasien yaitu sebelum kontak dengan pasien, sebelum melakukan prosedur tindakan bersih atau septik, setelah berisiko terpapar cairan tubuh pasien, setelah kontak dengan pasien dan setelah kontak dengan lingkungan sekeliling pasien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat gambaran kepatuhan perawat dalam melakukan hand hygiene five moments di ruang rawat inap Rumah Saki Siloam Bali. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan accidental sampling sebanyak 32 orang perawat di ruang rawat inap Inpatient Departement satu, Inpatient Departement dua dan Inpatient Departement tiga. Hasil persentase kepatuhan moments 1 sebanyak 31,3%, moments 2 sebanyak 87,5%, moments 3 sebanyak 100%, pada moments 4 sebanyak 65,6% dan moments 5 sebanyak 56,3%. Secara keseluruhan kepatuhan perawat dalam melakukan hand hygiene five moments sebanyak 68,12% dapat dikatakan tinggi. Pengolahan data menggunakan komputerisasi. Data diolah menggunakan analisis univariat.
