Abstract

Elderly is someone who because of his age experienced some changes. One of them is undergoing biological changes. Elderly people are vulnerable to fall. WHO determines that population called elderly is aged 60 years and over. Based on data recorded at Siloam Sriwijaya Hospital from 2015 to 2017 there were five elderly patients falling. The elderly are at risk of falling due to several factors that affect. The Fall Risk factors devided into two: intrinsic and extrinsic factors. The purpose of this study is to describe the fall risk factors of elderly patients in the Bougenville Room Siloam Hospitals Sriwijaya. This research uses descriptive quantitative design. The population in this study is elderly patients in the Bougenville Room Siloam Hospitals Sriwijaya and the samples are 30 elderly patients. The study begin in November 2017. The results of this study is intrinsic fall risk factors obtained in elderly with heart disorders are 25 respondents ( 83.3%), motion impairments are 17 respondents (56.6%), neurological disorders are 7 respondents (23.3%), vision impairments are 21 respondents (70%), hearing disorders 15 repondents (50%). The extrinsic fall risk factor obtained in elderly using a tool to help in walk is 7 respondents (30%) and respondents who assessed the environment was risky is 7 respondents(23,3%). Researchers next can do further research on the relationship between variables by analyzing risk factors fall in with the number of respondents more / Lansia adalah seseorang yang karena usianya mengalami beberapa perubahan yang dialami salah satunya mengalami perubahan secara biologis. WHO menetapkan bahwa yang disebut penduduk lansia adalah yang berumur 60 tahun ke atas. Berdasarkan data yang tercatat di Rumah Sakit Siloam Sriwijaya, sejak tahun 2015 sampai 2017 terdapat sebanyak lima pasien lansia jatuh. Faktorfaktor risiko jatuh terbagi menjadi dua yaitu faktor intrinsik dan faktor ektrinsik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran faktor risiko jatuh pada pasien lansia di ruang Bougenville Rumah Sakit Siloam Sriwijaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien lansia yang ada di ruang Bougenville Rumah Sakit Siloam Sriwijaya. Sampel yang diteliti adalah sebanyak 30 pasien lansia dan penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2017. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Faktor risko jatuh intrinsik didapatkan hasil lansia dengan gangguan jantung sebanyak 25 (83,3%), gangguan gerak 17 (56,6%), gangguan saraf 7 (23,3%), penglihatan 21 (70 %), pendengaran 15 (50%). Faktor risiko jatuh ekstrinsik didapatkan hasil lansia yang menggunakan alat bantu berjalan sebanyak 9 (30%) dan responden yang menilai lingkungan berisiko 7 (23,3%).Saran:peneliti selanjutnya dapat melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai hubungan antara variabel dengan menganalisa faktor-faktor risiko jatuh dengan jumlah responden yang lebih banyak.
