Abstract

Dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya, masyarakat haruslah mencari nafkah atau penghasilan. Banyak masyarakat yang mengabdikan dirinya untuk bekerja di lembaga pemerintahan maupun lembaga swasta. Masyarakat bekerja mulai dari pagi hingga sore hari selama lima atau enam hari dalam seminggu. Terutama di kota - kota besar pusat perkantoran seperti daerah Thamrin. Kini, rutinitas bekerja sudah menjadi kebutuhan primer bagi masyarakat luas. Karena itu beban pekerjaan bisa menjadi tekanan mental dan psikis para pekerja dan mempengaruhi motivasi dan semangat bekerja. Melalui desain urban di tengah perkantoran dengan teknik pengumpulan data kepustakaan, observasi dan kuesioner, penulis membuat perancangan area dengan menggunakan konsep “pengalaman ruang di tengah hiruk pikuk kota Jakarta dalam mengubah aktivitas sehari-hari ke dalam bentuk area yang “terbuka” yang saling berinteraksi dan menyenangkan” sebagai pemecah masalah. Melalui perancangan desain ini, penulis membangun suasana yang menenangkan dengan tujuan pengunjung yang datang terutama pekerja bisa merasa terejuvenasi. / In order to meet the needs of his life, people must earn a living or income. People devote themselves to work in government agencies and private institutions. People work from morning to afternoon for five or six days a week. Especially in big cities such as Thamrin city. Now, routine work has become a primary need for the wider community. Therefore the burden of work can be the mental and psychic pressure of the workers and affect the motivation and spirit of work. Through urban design in the middle of the office with the technique of collecting library data, observations and questionnaires, the author created an area design using the concept of "space experience in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Jakarta in transforming daily activities into "open" areas that interact and delight each other" as problem solvers. Through the design of this design, the author builds a calming atmosphere with the aim of visitors who come especially workers can feel astonished.
