There are several factors that can cause falls, such as musculoskeletal condition is osteoporosis, or a decrease in muscle strength associated with age, cardiovascular disease such as postural hypotension, carotid, hypersensitivity syndrome and intermittent arrhythmias, neurological diseases such as stroke, dementia, and fracture. There are several characteristics that can cause the elderly at risk for falls that is the intrinsic factor and a factor extrinsic. Based from some research done falls is harmful and can cause someone injury, errors to death if not treated quickly and precisely. The purpose of this research was conducted to find out the description of the characteristics of the patients the risk of falls in inpatient Hospitals Siloam Bali by using descriptive quantitative methods with convenience sampling techniques. The number of samples in this research totalled 25 elderly people taken from the Inpatient Department (IPD 1). The conclusion the results of research conducted on patients at the inpatient Hospitals Siloam Bali shows that there are several factors that can affect patients at risk for falls covering the state of giddy at the moment will stand from the position sitting before, incontinence, and unsteady when standing or walking / Terdapat beberapa faktor yang dapat menyebabkan jatuh adalah kondisi musculoskeletal, seperti osteoporosis, atau penurunan kekuatan otot yang berkaitan dengan usia, penyakit kardiovaskular seperti hipotensi postural, sindrom hipersensitivitas karotis, dan aritmia intermittent, penyakit neurologis seperti stroke, demensia, dan fraktur. Terdapat beberapa karakteristik yang dapat menyebabkan lansia berisiko untuk jatuh yaitu faktor intrinsik dan faktor ekstrinsik. Berdasarkan dari beberapa penelitian yang dilakukan jatuh merupakan hal yang membahayakan dan dapat menyebabkan seseorang mengalami cedera, kecatatan hingga kematian jika tidak ditangani secara cepat dan tepat. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran karakteristik pasien risiko jatuh di ruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Siloam Bali dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik convenience sampling. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 25 orang lansia yang diambil dari Inpatient Departement (IPD 1). Kesimpulan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada pasien di ruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Siloam Bali menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi pasien berisiko untuk jatuh yang meliputi keadaan pusing pada saat akan berdiri dari posisi duduk sebelumnya, inkontinensia, dan goyah ketika berdiri atau berjalan.
