Abstract

Patient identification is one of the process of collecting data and recording all information about the evidence from someone so that medical team can set and equalize with individual. In identifying patients, it is related to nursing actions when providing nursing care, each nursing care must take precedence with the identification of the patient through the stage of the diagnostic process: drug administration, blood collection, specimen collection, before treatment, procedure, breastfeeding, and before handing over the patient's food, so it is related to the nurse's action in implementing the standard operational procedure (SOP) there are also factors influencing the nurse that is: knowledge, attitude, ability, motivation and education. The purpose of this research is to know the description of the factors that influence the nurse in identifying the patient at Betesda I Siloam Kupang General Hospital. The research design used is quantitative descriptive with total sampling method. The total population of 17 nurses with the samples taken amounted to the entire population of 17 nurses who identified patients before taking nursing action. The result of the research shows that the factors influencing the nurses in identifying the patient are knowledge factor (70,6%), attitude factor (88,2%), ability factor (76,5%), education factor S1 Ners (41% ) and motivation factor (70,6%) / Identifikasi pasien merupakan salah satu proses pengumpulan data dan pencatatan segala keterangan tentang bukti-bukti dari seseorang sehingga tim medis dapat menetapkan dan menyamakan keterangan tersebut dengan individu. Dalam melakukan identifikasi pasien, ini berkaitan dengan tindakan perawat saat memberikan asuhan keperawatan, setiap asuhan keperawatan harus didahulukan dengan identifikasi pasien melalui tahap proses diagnosis yaitu pemberian obat, pengambilan darah, pengambilan spesimen, sebelum memberikan pengobatan, melakukan prosedur, pemberian ASI, saat terimah pasien dan sebelum menyerahkan makanan pasien, sehingga hal ini berkaitan dengan tindakan perawat dalam melaksanakan standar operasional prosedur (SOP) ada pun faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perawat yaitu: pengetahuan, sikap, kemampuan, motivasi dan pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui gambaran faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perawat dalam melakukan identifikasi pasien di Betesda I Rumah Sakit Umum Siloam Kupang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan ialah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode total sampling. Jumlah populasi 17 perawat dengan sampel yang diambil berjumlah seluruh populasi yang ada 17 perawat yang melakukan identifikasi pasien sebelum melakukan tindakan keperawatan. Hasil peneilitian menunjukan dari gambaran faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perawat dalam melakukan identifikasi pasien dikatakan faktor pengetahuan (70,6%), faktor sikap (88,2%), faktor kemampuan (76,5%), faktor pendidikan S1 Ners (41%) dan faktor motivasi (70,6%).
