The aim of this scientific paper is the notion on handling hate speech in digital age in accordance to the Pancasila Democracy through the perspective of progressive law. The research method is utilizing the normative studies as well as collecting data by in-depth interviews. The result which had been collected indicated that the implementation of freedom of speech in Indonesia requires certain mechanism, which is have to be done before law of the Indonesian constitution. Nonetheless, although such norms and law are excellently created in forms of regulations, the society is much obligated to be taught as well as to be mentally apprehended in order to achieve justice and expediency of law. The concept of abiding the law which based on sense of justice and to achieve the state of summum bonum, instead of obeying because the fear of punitive enforcement. With a strong sense of justice, hence the society will be able to perceive the true essence of Pancasila in concern to generate a conducive process of freedom of speech, whereas the society has to contribute spreading the values of tolerance which can lead to the eradication of hate speech which is being implemented under a wellmaintained Pancasila Democracy.
