Abstract

Nursing services, is a 24-hour service and constantly being in various work units of the Hospital. Some kind of negligence related to the study of patients at risk of falling include: the absence of a standard procedure for learning, not being able to identify patients to increased risk of injury due to falls, unable to manage learning, manage assessment late, the absence of a consistent time to reassess the patient's condition changes, failed to recognize the limitations of risk screening tool fell and failed to assess the patient's condition during the return was Hospitalized. Then, through the nurse's attitude in implementing the prevention against risk of patient falls expected nurses able to identify capabilities and help patients while in Hospital so that the patient's safety is assured up to get out of the Hospital. This research aims to know the description of the attitude of the nurses about the application of the prevention against risk of patient falls in inpatient adult SHMN. Use a descriptive quantitative research design. Research instrument used was a questionnaire with closed questions. Sampling using is total sampling with 50 nurses implementers in inpatient adult of SHMN. The results showed 42 nurses (84%) had a good attitude and only 8 nurses (16%) were not good enough. The researcher suggests to hospitals to be able to involve families in an effort to increase the patient's awareness in the hospital, especially the risk of falling patients / Pelayanan keperawatan, merupakan pelayanan 24 jam dan terus menerus berada di berbagai unit kerja rumah sakit. Beberapa jenis kelalaian yang berhubungan dengan pengkajian pasien berisiko jatuh meliputi: tidak adanya standar prosedur untuk pengkajian, tidak mampu mengidentifikasi pasien terhadap peningkatan risiko cedera akibat jatuh, tidak mampu mengelola pengkajian, terlambat mengelola pengkajian, tidak adanya waktu yang konsisten untuk menilai kembali perubahan kondisi pasien, gagal mengenali keterbatasan dari alat skrining risiko jatuh dan gagal mengkaji kembali kondisi pasien selama dirawat di rumah sakit. Maka, melalui sikap perawat dalam menerapkan pencegahan terhadap pasien resiko jatuh diharapkan perawat mampu mengidentifikasi kemampuan dan membantu pasien selama di rumah sakit sehingga keamanan pasien terjamin sampai dengan keluar rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui gambaran sikap perawat tentang penerapan pencegahan pada pasien resiko jatuh di ruang rawat inap dewasa SHMN. Desain penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan analisis univariat. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dengan pertanyaan terutup. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan jumlah sampel 50 perawat pelaksana di ruang rawat inap dewasa SHMN. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 42 perawat (84%) memiliki gambaran sikap yang baik dan hanya 8 perawat (16%) yang belum baik. Peneliti menyarankan kepada rumah sakit untuk dapat melibatkan keluarga dalam dalam upaya meningkatan keselamatan pasien di rumah sakit, khususnya resiko jatuh pasien.
