Abstract

Sebuah perusahaan desain interior memiliki pola kerja tertentu dalam menjalankan perusahaannya sehingga proses desain berlangsung dengan baik. Vivaci Living memiliki pola kerja yang fleksibel yang dipengaruhi oleh pandangan dan kontrol dari pemimpinnya. Selama 5 tahun berdiri, melalui pola kerja yang fleksibel desainer Viavci Living merasa lebih senang, nyaman, dan lebih produktif.Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan studi kasus kolektif selama proses permagangan yang dilakukan oleh penulis selama 9 bulan. Penulis diposisikan sebagai peneliti yang berpartisipasi dan mengobservasi fenomena sosial yang terjadi di dalam studi kasus maupun lingkungan kerja Vivaci Living untuk mendapatkan hal-hal yang berkaitan dan dibutuhkan oleh penelitian pola kerja fleksibel. Penggunaan studi kasus kolektif berguna untuk membandingkan fleksibilitas dalam berbagai kasus, sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan berupa benang merah mengenai persamaan dan perbedaan fleksibilitas yang ada di Vivaci Living. Penulis menemukan bahwa pola kerja fleksibel ini berpengaruh terhadap kinerja, motivasi, dan kepuasan kerja karyawan. Melalui Pola kerja fleksibel ini, terbukti bahwa proses desain tetap berlangsung baik dan optimal. Namun fleksibilitas yang diberikan ini tidak berarti bebas, melainkan kebebasan yang terkontrol. Penulis menemukan bahwa perlu adanya kontrol-kontrol tertentu yang dibuat untuk memastikan berjalannya proses desain di Vivaci Living. Dengan adanya fleksibilitas dan kontrol yang ditetapkan tersebut, menghasilkan tanggung jawab atas proyek yang diberikan dan rasa kepemilikan untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaan secara maksimal. /An interior design company has a certain work pattern in running its company so that the design process goes well. Vivaci Living has a flexible work pattern that is influenced by the views and controls of its leaders. During its 5 years of existence, Vivaci Living's designers feel happier, more comfortable, and more productive through flexible working patterns.The author uses qualitative research methods with collective case studies during the apprenticeship process conducted by the author for 9 months. The author is positioned as a researcher who participates in and observes social phenomena that occur in the case study and in the Vivaci Living work environment to find things related to and needed by research on flexible working patterns. The use of collective case studies is useful for comparing flexibility in various cases, so that conclusions can be drawn in the form of a common thread regarding the similarities and differences in flexibility that exist in Vivaci Living. The author found that this flexible work pattern has an effect on employee performance, motivation, and job satisfaction. Through this flexible work pattern, it is evident that the design process continues well and optimally. However, this flexibility that is given does not mean free, but freedom that is controlled. The author finds that it is necessary to have certain controls in place to ensure that the design process runs at Vivaci Living. Given the flexibility and control that is assigned, resulting in responsibility for the project given and a sense of ownership to get the job done to the maximum.
