Abstract

Fall is a significant cause of injury and death in an already weak parent. Globally, falling is a public health issue that causes the second leading cause of death from accidental injury after a traffic accident. The highest death rates from falls occur at the age of over 60, adults 15-29 years and children aged 15 years or younger. The nurse's behavior in providing nursing care to the patient should pay attention to the patient's safety aspect, involving the cognitive, affective and patient safety aspects. The nurse's behavior in maintaining patient safety is instrumental in the prevention, control and improvement of patient safety. The purpose of this study is to identify the description of the behavior of nurses in the implementation of prevention of fall in Bali Siloam Hospitals. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with the type of criterion sampling with the number of samples of 26 people. Data analysis using univariate analysis where variable used is single variable. The mean of total score is 62,81 so the conclusion is the nurse behavior of preventing falls is good. The advice for the next researcher is to researching the implementation of preventinh fall with observation menthod / Jatuh merupakan penyebab signifikan dari cedera dan kematian pada orang tua yang sudah lemah. Secara global, jatuh merupakan masalah kesehatan publik yang menyebabkan penyebab utama kedua kematian akibat cedera tidak disengaja setelah kecelakaan lalulintas. Tingkat kematian tertinggi akibat jatuh terjadi pada usia di atas 60 tahun, orang dewasa 15-29 tahun dan anak- anak usia 15 tahun atau lebih muda. Perilaku perawat dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan kepada pasien harus memperhatikan aspek keselamatan pasien, dengan melibatkan aspek kognitif, afektif dan tindakan yang mengutamakan keselamatan pasien. Perilaku perawat dalam menjaga keselamatan pasien sangat berperan dalam pencegahan, pengendalian dan peningkatan keselamatan pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi gambaran pelaksanaan pencegahan jatuh di Rumah Sakit Siloam Bali. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jenis criterion sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 26 orang. Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat dimana variabel yang digunakan adalah variabel tunggal. Hasil skor rata-rata yang didapatkan adalah 62,81 dimana dapat disimpulkan bahwa gambaran perilaku perawat melaksanakan pencegahan jatuh di Rumah Sakit Siloam bali dinyatakan baik. Saran bagi penelitian selanjutnya adalah untuk meneliti pelaksanaan pencegahan jatuh dengan menggunakan metode observasi.
