Abstract

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a pathophysiological process with a wide variety of etiologies, resulting in progressive decline in kidney function. One way to handling CKD is by hemodialysis where the patient should to limit the intake of drinking during the therapy. The aim to describe the knowledge of patient with CKD on hemodialysis about adherence on limit the intake of drinking in Hemodialysis of Siloam Hospitals Labuan Bajo. This research used descriptive quantitative research. The population is all of the amount of patient with CKD on hemodialysis in Hemodialysis of Siloam Hospitals Labuan Bajo. This research used the total sampling technique. The amount of sample is 20 patients. The results showed that more than half of respondents have enough knowledge is about 12 people (60%), the percentage of respondents who have good knowledge and less below 50%. And about 9 people (45%) belong to the category of obedience, and who do not obey is about 11 people (55%). From the results of the study is expected that patients adhere to restrictions on intake of drinking in order to avoid complications such as edema or swelling of the body, shortness of breath and hypertension / Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) merupakan suatu proses patofisiologis dengan etiologi yang beragam, mengakibatkan penurunan fungsi ginjal yang progresif. Salah satu penanganan CKD adalah dengan terapi hemodialisis dimana pasien harus memperhatikan pembatasan asupan minum selama menjalankan terapi tersebut. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengetahuan pasien dengan CKD yang menjalani hemodialisis tentang kepatuhan pembatasan asupan minum di ruang Hemodialisis Siloam Hospitals Labuan Bajo. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah keseluruhan jumlah pasien dengan CKD yang menjalani hemodialisis di ruang Hemodialisis Siloam Hospitals Labuan Bajo. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah 20 pasien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari setengah responden memiliki pengetahuan cukup yaitu sebanyak 12 orang (60%), sedangkan persentase responden yang memiliki pengetahuan baik dan kurang dibawah 50%. Dan sebanyak 9 orang (45%) tergolong dalam kategori patuh, dan yang tidak patuh sebanyak 11 orang (55%). Dari hasil penelitian diharapkan agar pasien mematuhi pembatasan asupan minum agar tidak terjadi komplikasi seperti edema atau pembengkakan pada tubuh, sesak nafas dan hipertensi.
