Abstract

Dalam tiga dekade terakhir di Arab Saudi, pemenuhan hak perempuan masih sangat kurang diperhatikan, sehinga para perempuan di Arab Saudi tidak mendapatkan hak dengan sepenuhnya. Para perempuan dan organisasi yang berfokus pada pemenuhan hak perempuan di Arab Saudi melakukan demonstrasi, agar mereka mendapatkan hak yang seharusnya diterima oleh mereka. Hal tersebut berubah ketika Pangeran Muhammad Bin Salman merilis Kebijakan Visi Arab 2030. Tujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apa yang melatar belakangi terbentuknya kebijakan Visi Arab 2030, bentuk pemenuhan hak perempuan, dan juga pengaruhnya terhadap perusahaan multinasional di Arab Saudi. Di dalam penelitian ini, Penulis menggunakan teori Liberalisme sebagai landasan teori yang digunakan. Penulis juga menggunakan beberapa konsep yang di gunakan di dalam penelitian ini, yaitu konsep kesetaraan gender dan konsep aktor perusahaan multinasional. Penulis juga menggunakan pendekatan kualiatif serta teknik studi kepustakaan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa, Kebijakan Visi Arab 2030 dibuat untuk mengurangi ketergantungan Arab Saudi terhadap hasil minyak bumi dengan cara pendiversifikasian kegiatan ekonomi. Supaya Proses pendiversifikasian tersebut berjalan dengan lancar, pemerintah melakukan pemenuhan hak perempuan di Arab Saudi guna dapat menciptakan SDM yang unggul serta sebagai bentuk keseriusan Arab Saudi sebagai negara yang meratifikasi Konvensi CEDAW (assertive action). Pemenuhan hak perempuan tersebut berdampak terhadap kinerja perusahaan multinasional di Arab Saudi, khususnya di bidang fashion, automotive, serta asuransi. / In the last three decades in Saudi Arabia, the granting of women's rights has received very little attention, so that women in Saudi Arabia did not get their fully rights. All women and organizations that focus on fulfilling women's rights in Saudi Arabia hold demonstrations, so that they get the rights they deserve. That changed when Prince Muhammad Bin Salman released the Arab Vision 2030 Policy. The major objectives of this research are to find out what is behind the formation of the Arab Vision 2030 policy, the form of granting women's rights, and also its influence on MNC in Saudi Arabia. In this research, the writer uses Liberalism theory as the theory used. The writer also uses several concepts in this research, such as concept of gender equality and concept of MNC actors. The writer also uses a qualitative approach and literature study techniques that used in this research. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Arab Vision 2030 Policy was designed to reduce Saudi Arabia's dependence on petroleum products by diversifying economic activities. In order for the diversification process to run smoothly, the government grants rights to all women in Saudi Arabia in order to be able to create superior human resources as well as a form of the seriousness of Saudi Arabia as a country that has ratified the CEDAW Convention (assertive action). The granting of women's rights has an impact on the performance of MNC in Saudi Arabia, especially in the fields of fashion, automotive, and insurance.
