Abstract
Laporan magang ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu apakah proses RSOP (Rekrutmen, Seleksi, Penempatan dan Orientasi) yang telah dilakukan oleh perusahaan PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia. Tbk sesuai dengan yang tertera pada teori dan penelitian sebelumnya. Peneliti juga ingin melihat apakah proses RSOP yang dilakukan oleh PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia berjalan sesuai dengan pedoman perusahaan dan melihat dimanakah jika adanya dan perbedaan dalam cara recruitment center serta BUHC atau divisi personalia (PGA) melakukan proses rekrutmen dan seleksi. Laporan magang ini bersifat kualitatif, dengan metode pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur. Telah ditemukan bahwa proses RSOP yang dilakukan oleh PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia, secara garis besar mengikuti teori yang ada dan secara dasarnya sama dengan perusahaan lain, namun yang peneliti temukan adalah bahwa pada proses seleksi PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia lebih mengedepankan soft skills seperti kemauan adaptasi, kekuatan mental saat dihadapi masalah, ketahanan untuk tidak cepat menyerah dan rasa ingin mempelajari hal baru yang sangat kuat. Filosofi yang sering kali diumbarkan adalah "kemauan untuk adaptasi dan belajar hal baru terkadang lebih penting dibandingkan dengan nilai ataupun gelar orang tersebut”. Saran kedepannya agar dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut di PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia, karena data kualitatif yang didapat peneliti belum dapat digeneralisasikan untuk seluruh perusahaan./This internship report aims to find out whether the RSOP (Recruitment, Selection, Placement and Orientation) process that has been carried out by the PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia (CPI) Tbk company corresponds and consistent with theories and previous researches about RSOP. The researcher also wanted to see whether the RSOP process carried out by PT. CPI runs in accordance with the guidelines inside of PT. CPI itself and observe if there are deviations and differences in the way the recruitment center and BUHC or the personnel and general affairs division (PGA) carry out the recruitment and selection process. This internship report is qualitative, with the data collection method semi guided interview. It has been found that the RSOP process carried out by PT. CPI mostly followed the existing theory and research findings and are basically the same as other companies, but what the researcher found was that in the selection process, PT. CPI prioritizes soft skills such as willingness to adapt into a new environment, mental fortitude when faced with problems, to not easily give up and a very strong sense of wanting to learn new things. The philosophy that is often shared is "the willingness to adapt and learn new things is sometimes more important than the person's grades or titles". The writer suggests that further research should be carried within PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia with more respondents, since the data within this research were obtained through qualitative methods from few respondents, thus rendering the results’ inability to be generalized.
