Abstract

Seiring berkembangnya teknologi, implementasi pengenalan wajah semakin diminati untuk memverifikasi pengguna. Hal ini dikarenakan penggunaan kata sandi untuk memverifikasi pengguna sering diretas untuk mendapatkan informasi penting pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meracang prototype sistem dengan mengimplementasi pengenalan wajah untuk memverifikasi pengguna yang meminta hak akes ke dalam sistem. Metode yang digunakan untuk implementasi pengenalan wajah manusia adalah Viola-Jones untuk mendeteksi wajah dan Eigenface untuk pengenalan wajah dengan OpenCV. Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan untuk merancang sistem ini adalah Java. Pengumpulan data dilakukan untuk mendapatkan citra wajah serta identitas pengguna. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, sistem yang telah dirancang memiliki tingkat akurasi sebesar 95.9% untuk mengenali wajah pengguna. Sistem mampu mengenali wajah pengguna dengan berbagai ekspresi dan menggunakan atau melepas kacamata. Namun, sistem sulit untuk mengenali pengguna pada kondisi wajah menghadap ke atas, bawah, samping serta terhalang oleh aksesoris ataupun anggota tubuh seperti tangan. Sistem yang telah dirancang dapat dikatakan cukup aman diimplementasikan untuk memverifikasi pengguna yang meminta hak akses ke dalam sistem pada kondisi normal./As technology develops, facial recognition implementations are increasingly in demand to verify users. This is because the use of passwords to verify users is often hacked to get user’s important information. This study aims to design a prototype system by implementing facial recognition to verify users who request access to the system. The method used to implement human face recognition is Viola-Jones for face detection and Eigenface for face recognition with OpenCV. The programming language used to design this system is Java. Data collection is carried out to obtain facial images and user identities. Based on the test results, the system that has been designed has an accuracy rate of 95.9% to recognize the user’s face. The system is-able-to recognize the user's face with various expressions and put on or take off glasses. However, the system is difficult to recognize when user’s face is facing up, down, sideways and blocked by accessories or body parts such as hands. The system that has been designed can be said safe enough to be implemented to verify users who request access to the system under normal conditions.
