This thesis is aimed to vet and analyze on the arrangement and implementation which is exercised by a Notary concerning with Beneficial Owner of a Limited Liability Company subsequent to the enactment of Presidential Regulation Number 13 of 2018. The legal research methods which are applied are the statutory approach and case approach. In addition, this thesis is also bolstered by supplementary data through limited interview to the Notary Central Supervisory Council and 2 (two) Notaries as sources in order to ascertain theoretically and practically in relation to the arrangement and implementation of the principle of recognizing the user of notary s service to disclose the Beneficial Owner in Indonesia as well the Supreme Court Ruling which enmeshes the Beneficial Owner because of perpetrating a criminal act. In this situation, the notary becomes one of the parties whom is liable to convey the Beneficial Owner information to the Relevant Authority through the Corporate Administrative Service System. Pursuant to the research s result, it is learned that in practice, not many notaries who perform the principle of recognizing the user of Notary s service to disclose the Beneficial Owner in an actual manner. Such circumstance is precipitated because of Presidential Regulation Number 13 of 2018 has yet to comprehensively stipulate the Beneficial Owner of a Limited Liability Company. Hence, a Law is necessitated to become a guideline for a Notary to uncover the Beneficial Owner and establishes the alignment of law which are related to the duty and authority of a Notary. / Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisa mengenai pengaturan dan pelaksanaan yang dilakukan Notaris berkenaan dengan Pemilik Manfaat (.Beneficial Owner) dari Perseroan Terbatas pasca terbitnya Peraturan Presiden Nomor 13 Tahun 2018. Metode penelitian hukum yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Undang-Undang (statue approach) dan pendekatan kasus (case approach). Selain itu tulisan ini juga didukung dengan data tambahan melalui wawancara terbatas terhadap Majelis Pengawas Pusat Notaris dan 2 (dua) orang Notaris sebagai narasumber untuk dapat mengetahui secara teori dan praktik terkait pengaturan dan pelaksanaan prinsip mengenali pengguna jasa notaris untuk mengungkap Pemilik Manfaat (Beneficial Owner) di Indonesia serta Putusan Mahkamah Agung yang menjerat Pemilik Manfaat (.Beneficial Owner) karena melakukan tindak pidana. Dalam hal ini Notaris menjadi salah satu pihak yang wajib menyampaikan informasi Pemilik Manfaat (Beneficial Owner) kepada Instansi Berwenang melalui Sistem Pelayanan Administrasi Korporasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa pada praktiknya belum banyak Notaris yang menjalankan prinsip mengenali pengguna jasa Notaris untuk mengungkap Pemilik Manfaat (Beneficial Owner) secara aktual. Hal ini disebabkan oleh karena Peraturan Presiden Nomor 13 Tahun 2018 belum mengatur secara komprehensif mengenai Pemilik Manfaat (Beneficial Owner) dari suatu Perseroan Terbatas. Oleh karenanya dibutuhkan suatu Undang-Undang yang dapat menjadi pedoman bagi Notaris untuk mengungkap Pemilik Manfaat (Beneficial Owner) dan menciptakan harmonisasi hukum yang terkait dengan tugas dan wewenang Notaris.
