Jarak pagar (Jatropha curcas L.) merupakan salah satu tumbuhan yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat Indonesia sebagai bahan obat. Daun jarak pagar yang telah diisolasi mengandung senyawa flavonoid dan memiliki aktivitas antiartritis. Ekstrak daun jarak dibuat dalam bentuk sediaan serbuk dengan variasi bahan pengisi manitol dan laktosa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui formula optimum yang dapat digunakan dalam pembuatan sediaan serbuk ekstrak daun jarak pagar. Ektraksi daun jarak pagar dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode maserasi menggunakan etanol 96%. Sediaan serbuk pada penelitian ini dibuat dengan variasi bahan pengisi manitol-laktosa dengan tiga formula yaitu FI (manitol 100%-laktosa 0%), FII (manitol 50%-laktosa 50%) dan FIII (manitol 0%- laktosa 100%). Pengujian sediaan serbuk meliputi sifat alir, sudut diam, kompresibilitas dan stabilitas organoleptik sediaan di hari pertama, 3, 7 dan 14. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi variasi bahan pengisi mempengaruhi sifat fisik sediaan serbuk yaitu sifat alir sudut diam, distribusi ukuran partikel, kompresibilitas dan stabilitas organoleptik sediaan. Hasil pengujian pada FI memberikan hasil yang memenuhi persyaratan serbuk yang diinginkan dari setiap parameter yang diuji. Dari hasil pengujian stabilita secara organoleptik didapatkan semua formula tidak stabil pada kemasan primernya, hanya F1 yang tetap stabil secara organoleptik dengan penyimpanan menggunakan kemasan primer sachet kertas dan kemasan sekunder pouch alumunium. / Jatropha (Jatropha curcas L.) is one of the plants used by the people of Indonesia as a medicinal ingredient. Jatropha leaves that have been isolated contain flavonoid compounds and have anti-arthritis activity. Jatropha leaf extract was made in the form of powder preparations with variations in mannitol and lactose as fillers. This study aims to determine the optimum formula that can be used in the manufacture of jatropha leaf extract powder preparations. Jatropha leaf extraction was carried out using the maceration method using 96% ethanol. Powder preparations in this study were made with a variety of mannitol-lactose fillers with three formulas, namely FI (100% lactose-0% mannitol), FII (50% mannitol-50% lactose) and FIII (0%-lactose 100% mannitol). Testing of powder preparations included flow properties, angle of repose, compressibility and organoleptic stability of the preparation on the first, 3, 7 and 14 days. The results showed that the combination of various fillers affected the physical properties of powder preparations, namely flow properties, angle of repose, particle size distribution, compressibility and the organoleptic stability of the preparation. The test results on the FI provide results that meet the requirements of the desired powder from each parameter tested. From the results of organoleptic stability testing, it was found that all formulas were unstable in their primary packaging, only FI remained organoleptically stable with storage using paper sachet primary packaging and aluminum pouch secondary packaging.
