Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi informasi di daerah pedesaan atau kota-kota kecil masih sangat minim dikarenakan biaya operasional untuk pengadaan jaringan komputer yang cukup mahal. RT/RW-Net merupakan jaringan komputer swadaya masyarakat berbasis media kabel atau wireless 2.4 GHz dan hotspot sebagai sarana komunikasi yang bebas dari undang-undang pemerintah. RT/RW-Net diterapkan oleh beberapa pihak (non perusahaan) dalam mendapatkan akses internet yang murah bagi banyak pihak, sehingga dapat membantu masyarakat Indonesia untuk mendapatkan akses informasi yang lebih merata dan lebih berkembang di bidang teknologi informasi. Pada tugas akhir ini dibuat sebuah simulasi jaringan RT/RW-Net berbasis Mikrotik RouterOS sebagai network routernya, FreeRADIUS sebagai AAA server dan sebuah router access point sebagai media penyebaran jaringan secara wireless untuk kedua indekos tersebut. Konfigurasi dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi berbasis Windows, yaitu WinBox sehingga presentase kesalahan saat setup dapat diminimalisir dan dapat mudah disesuaikan menurut kebutuhan yang ada. Pengguna akan diharuskan untuk login sebagai proses autentikasi dalam menggunakan internet pada jaringan RT/RW-Net ini. Ketika pengguna melakukan login, database FreeRADIUS memberikan info mengenai pengguna tersebut, jika kuotanya belum habis maka pengguna tersebut diberikan akses untuk login. Setiap pengguna dibatasi kuotanya dan beberapa website akan di-block. Ketika kuota telah habis, pengguna tidak dapat menggunakan internet di jaringan RT/RW-Net ini. Setelah konfigurasi dilakukan, dilakukan pengujian sistem dengan cara uji coba login, uji coba login ketika kuota telah habis, dan uji coba buka website yang terlarang. Dari ketiga pengujian tersebut, didapatkan tingkat keberhasilan sistem dalam koneksi database dan Mikrotik untuk login adalah 100%. Tingkat keberhasilan sistem dalam membatasi pengguna yang telah habis kuotanya adalah 100%. Tingkat keberhasilan limit website yang terlarang adalah 100%. / The development of information technology in rural areas or small towns is still very low due to the expensive operational costs for the procurement of computer networks. RT / RW-Net is a 2.4 GHz wireless or wired community-based computer network and hotspot as an independent communication media. RT / RW-Net is implemented by several non-corporate party in obtaining cheap internet access for many parties, in order to help Indonesian society to gain access to more evenly and more developed information in the field of information technology. In this final project an RT / RW-Net network simulation based on Mikrotik RouterOS as its network router is created. FreeRADIUS is used as AAA server and a router access point is used as a wireless network deployment medium for the second boarding house. Configuration is done using Windows-based applications, namely Winbox is so that the percentage of errors during setup can be minimized and can be easily adjusted according to existing needs. Users will be required to login as an authentication process in using the internet on this RT / RW-Net network. When the user logs in, the FreeRADIUS database provides info about the user. If the quota is not exceeded then the user is granted access to login. Every user is limited to his quota and some websites will be blocked. When the quota has exceeded, the user can not use the internet in this RT / RW-Net network. After the configuration is done, tests the system are conducted by trial login, login when the quota has exceeded, and access the restricted website. Of the three tests, the system achieved 100% of success rate in database connection and Mikrotik to login. The success rate of the system in limiting the users who exceeded quota is 100%. The success rate of limiting the restricted website is 100%.
