Abstract

Komunikasi massa merupakan salah satu cara bagi orang-orang untuk mendapatkan informasi-informasi menarik seperti fashion secara mudah. Komunikasi massa membutuhkan sarana untuk menyampaikan informasi, salah satu sarana yang paling umum digunakan adalah media cetak seperti majalah. Melihat perkembangan zaman dan teknologi yang semakin pesat, banyak majalah di Indonesia yang melakukan konvergensi media untuk menghasilkan konten secara online agar dapat beradaptasi dengan era digital ini. Salah satunya adalah Harper’s Bazaar Indonesia. Sebagai media yang masih menjalankan majalah cetak dan juga media online secara bersamaan pada era digital ini, diperlukan pengelolaan redaksi yang baik pada Harper’s Bazaar Indonesia agar jurnalis atau yang disebut sebagai digital writer pada redaksi Harper’s Bazaar Indonesia ini dapat menjalankan tugasnya utnuk mencapai tujuan komunikasi massa. Dari hasil magang yang telah pemagang laksanakan sebagai digital writer pada kedua redaksi Harper’s Bazaar Indonesia, pemagang dapat menyimpulkan bahwa sebelum menjalankan kegiatannya, seluruh anggota redaksi Harper’s Bazaar Indonesia terlebih dahulu melalui keempat tahapan manajemen redaksi yang terdiri atas perencanaan, pengorgansiasian, pelaksanaan hingga pengawasan untuk dapat memulai menjalankan tanggung jawabnya. Selain itu, proses penulisan berita pada majalah Harper’s Bazaar Indonesia juga persis dengan tahapan menulis berita yang mencakup penugasan, pengumpulan data, evaluasi, penulisan serta penyuntingan. Namun terdapat beberapa perbedaan pada penulisan untuk kedua media tersebut. Adapun perbedaan antara berita pada media online dan pada media cetak dari Harper’s Bazaar Indonesia terdapat pada cara penulisannya serta elemen-elemen dari kedua media tersebut. / Mass communication allows people to get some interesting information such as information about fashion easily. Mass communication requires a medium to convey information, one of the most commonly used media is printed media such as magazines. Seeing the rapid development of the technologies thorough time, many magazines in Indonesia are converging to online media to produce content online in order to adapt to this digital era. One of them is Harper's Bazaar Indonesia. As a media that runs both print magazines and online media simultaneously in this digital era, good editorial management is needed at Harper's Bazaar Indonesia so that journalists or what is known as digital writers at Harper's Bazaar Indonesia editorials can carry out mass communication goals. From the results of the internships that have been carried out as digital writers at the two editors of Harper's Bazaar Indonesia, the intern can conclude that before carrying out their activities, all members of the editors of Harper's Bazaar Indonesia must first go through the four stages mentioned above, organizing, implementing and supervising to be able to carry out their responsibilities. In addition, the process of writing news in Harper's Bazaar Indonesia magazine also takes place with the stages of writing news, collecting data, evaluating, and writing editing. However, there are some differences in the writing for the two media. The difference between news in online media and in print media from Harper's Bazaar Indonesia is in the way it is written and the elements of the two media.
