Abstract

Media massa memiliki peranan penting yang terkait dengan kebutuhan masyarakat di bidang politik, ruang publik, ekonomi, dan ruang publik. Keberpihakan media tercermin dari kata-kata, pemilihan berita yang menjadi utama, termasuk TV, koran, dan radio dan sebagainya dan sebagainya. Penggunaan bahasa, kata-kata, serta topik utama dalam berita dapat menyanjung suatu pihak, namun dapat pula menjatuhkan pihak tertentu. Salah satu keberpihakan yang terlihat pada pemberitaan yaitu mengenai pemberitaan pemerkosaan pada perempuan. Banyak bermunculan pemberitaan yang memposisikan perempuan sebagai objek. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan paradigma kritis. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan data primer, yaitu wawancara mendalam, serta data sekunder berupa studi kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan kepada jurnalis Detik.com yang terkait dan memiliki tentang pemberitaan pemerkosaan pada perempuan. Melalui analisis wacana kritis Sara Mills, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa posisi perempuan dalam pemberitaan kasus pemerkosaan di Detik.com adalah sebagai objek yang disebutkan dengan sebagai “korban”. Dan subjek adalah laki-laki sebagai pelaku pemerkosaan. / The mass media has an important role related to the needs of society in the fields of politics, public space, economy, and public space. The media's alignment is reflected in the words, the selection of the main news, including TV, newspapers, and radio, and so on and so on. The use of language, words, and the main topic in the news can flatter one party, but can also bring down certain parties. One of the alignments seen in the news is about reporting on the rape of women. There are many reports that position women as objects. This study uses a qualitative approach using a critical paradigm. The research data was collected using primary data, namely in-depth interviews, and secondary data in the form of library research and documentation. Interviews were conducted with Detik.com journalists who are related and have about reporting on the rape of women. Through Sara Mills' critical discourse analysis, the results of the study show that the position of women in reporting rape cases on Detik.com is as an object referred to as a "victim". And the subject is a man as the perpetrator of rape.
