Abstract
Social Media has become a very important facet of society ever since mobile phones became especially easy to obtain. This drastic shift in how the society around us communicate with each other is one that many businesses had trouble adapting to, as this forced them to change how to communicate with their customers. In the marketing world of today, businesses can no longer operate only using the now aging tactics of Old Media but must also adopt the novel marketing tactics of New Media. The Author interned with PT. Solusi Multiguna Prima (MyFab) with the express purpose of understanding the ins and outs of Social Media Marketing, how it differs from marketing in Old Media, and how it could be used to promote a relatively unknown product such as Prefabricated Construction. More importantly, the internship should also provide in depth knowledge about how a company’s social media page can fit in with the rest of a company’s digital marketing plan. The intern intends to see if the way that MyFab runs their Social Media Marketing is as written in the various textbooks that the intern studied. / Media Sosial telah menjadi sesuatu alat yang sangat penting di dalam masyarakat moderen, terutama sekarang, karena smartphone sangat gampang untuk didapat. Pergeseran drastis pada cara masyarakat berkomunikasi sesama lain hanya satu hal yang banyak perusahaan susah beradaptasi terpada, karena hal ini memaksa mereka untuk mengganti cara mereka berkomunikasi dengan pelanggan mereka. Dalam dunia pemasaran jaman sekarang, suatu bisnis tidak lagi dapat beroperasi hanya menggunakan Teknik pemasaran Old Media, tetapi juga harus mengadopsi Teknik pemasaran New Media. Sang penulis memilih untuk magang bersama PT. Solusi Multiguna Prima (MyFab) dengan tujuan yang jelas untuk mengerti akan seluk-beluk dari Pemasaran Media Sosial, apa yang membedakannya dari pemasaran Old Media, dan bagaimana Pemasaran Sosial Media dapat digunakan untuk memasarkan servis yang lumayan niche seperti Prefabricated Construction. Lebih dari itu, magang ini semestinya memberikan pengetahuan mendalam tentang bagaimana halaman media social suatu perusahaan dapat muat dalam strategi pemasaran digital suatu perusahaan. Sang pemagang berniat untuk melihat jika cara MyFab menjalankan Pemasaran Media Sosial seperti yang ditulis dalam buku teks yang dipelajari sang pemagang.
