Abstract

Di negara patriarki seperti Indonesia, peran perempuan kerap diasosiasikan dengan ranah domestik yang terbatas pada kegiatan rumah tangga, seperti membersihkan rumah dan juga mengurus keperluan keluarga. Padahal di era modern seperti saat ini, banyak perempuan yang membangun karir dan bekerja. Perempuan bisa tetap mengerjakan pekerjaan domestik seperti mengurus rumah, memasak, dan memastikan rumah tetap bersih, namun tetap bekerja membangun karir dan juga mengaktualisasikan dirinya di luar rumah. Pada tahun 2021 terdapat film baru yang diliris oleh Netflix berjudul “Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens”. Film ini berusaha menggambarkan perempuan sebagai sosok yang juga memiliki kekuatan untuk berjuang meraih impiannya selain melakukan pekerjaan rumah. Untuk itu penelitian ini akan berfokus pada penggambaran perempuan modern dalam cerita film Ali dan Ratu – Ratu Queens / Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode analisis naratif dari Tzevetan Todorov. Penelitian ini berfokus pada kisah naratif dari empat tokoh utama yaitu tokoh Ance, Party, Biyah, dan Chinta. Berdasarkan analisis naratif yang dilakukan maka dapat diketahui bahwa tokoh Ance, Biyah, Chinta, dan Party digambarkan sebagai perempuan modern yang ambisius, mandiri, dapat diandalkan, dan tegas. Unsur post feminisme tergambar melalui dua unsur: (1) Perempuan memiliki kebebasan untuk mengambil keputusan apapun dalam hidupnya, (2) Perempuan bisa membela haIn a patriarchal country like Indonesia, the role of women is often associated with the domestic sphere which is limited to household activities, such as cleaning the house and also taking care of family needs. Whereas in the modern era like today, many women are building careers and working. Women can continue to do domestic work such as taking care of the house, cooking, and making sure the house is clean, but still working to build a career and also actualize themselves outside the home. In 2021 there is new film released by Netflix entitled "Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens". This film tries to portray women as figures who also have the strength to fight for their dreams apart from doing housework. For this reason, this research will focus on the depiction of modern women in the narrative of the film Ali and Ratu - Ratu Queens. The approach in this research is qualitative with the method of narrative analysis from Tzevetan Todorov. This study focuses on the narrative stories of the four main characters, namely the characters of Ance, Party, Biyah, and Chinta. Based on the narrative analysis, it can be seen that the characters Ance, Biyah, Chinta, and Party are described as modern women who are ambitious, independent, reliable, and assertive. The elements of post-feminism are illustrated by two elements: (1) Women have the freedom to make any decisions in their lives, (2) Women can defend their rights and dignity when they are humiliated by other parties.k dan harga dirinya ketika direndahkan oleh pihak lain.
