Teknologi Informasi telah menjadi bagian hidup dari masyarakat di era industri 4.0 ini. Berbagai bidang kehidupan manusia termasuk pendidikan telah menerapkan teknologi informasi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dari aktivitas mereka dan sekolah-sekolah juga dituntut untuk mengimplementasikan teknologi informasi agar tidak tertinggal. Sekolah Medan Mulia merupakan salah satu sekolah swasta dengan tema sekolah bahasa yang ada di kota Medan. Selama ini, proses kelola nilai yang dilakukan Sekolah Medan Mulia masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga rentan terjadinya human error dan menghabiskan banyak waktu karena jumlah data yang perlu diolah sangat banyak yaitu mencakup kurang lebih 2000 siswa. Padahal proses kelola nilai di sekolah tersebut dituntut untuk dilakukan secara cepat dan tepat. Oleh sebab itu, penulis akan mengembangkan sebuah sistem informasi aplikasi kelola nilai yang akan digunakan untuk mengefisiensikan proses kelola nilai siswa yang meliputi membaca, menyimpan, mengubah, menghapus, serta menganalisa hasil capaian belajar siswa sekolah. Sistem ini dikembangkan dengan berbasis web sehingga akan mempermudah akses kelola nilai. Aplikasi ini juga akan mempermudah akses informasi siswa dalam pengecekan nilai yang bermasalah sebelum nantinya nilai tersebut ditetapkan untuk dicantumkan di rapor. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengembangkan sistem ini adalah metode Waterfall./Information technology has become a living part of society in this industrial 4.0 era. So far, the process of managing scores carried out by the Medan Mulia School is still done manually so that it is prone to human error and takes a lot of time because the amount of data that needs to be processed is very large, covering approximately 2000 students. In fact, the process of managing scores in schools is required to be carried out quickly and precisely. Therefore, the author will develop a scores management application information system that will be used to streamline the process of managing student scores which includes reading, saving, changing, deleting, and analyzing the results of school student learning outcomes. This system is developed on a web-based basis so that it will facilitate an easy access to scores management application information system. This application will also make it easier for student to check problematic grades before the grades are set to be included in the report card. The method used in developing this system is the Waterfall method.
