Abstract
Hypoxemia is a condition in which the human body experiences a lack of oxygen levels which can endanger health. COVID-19 is a disease that can cause a drop in oxygen levels and could lead to death if not treated promptly. This shows the importance of measuring and monitoring the oxygen saturation of the patient. One way to measure oxygen saturation is using an oximeter, which shows the oxygen saturation of the patient, but cannot save the data to a data center for monitoring and medical history. Therefore, the authors designed a centralized patient health monitoring system, specifically to measure oxygen saturation. The measurement relies on Internet of Things (IoT) technology using the NodeMCU ESP32 and the MAX30100 sensor. The data received by the MAX30100 is sent by the NodeMCU ESP32 to the AWS cloud system. Data is received by AWS IoT Core through the MQTT protocol which is then routed to various other services such as AWS Lambda, AWS EC2, InfluxDB, Redis, etc. This data is then stored in a centralized database to be processed in order to obtain certain information. In addition, a web-based application was developed that can be used to display data, add patients, add sensors, etc. Thus, a centralized health monitoring system (oxygen saturation) was created which recorded the progress of the patient's health on a regular basis and formed a historical data set as the patient's medical history./ Hipoksemia merupakan keadaan di mana tubuh manusia mengalami kekurangan kadar oksigen yang dapat membahayakan kesehatan.
