Abstract

Swamedikasi ialah pengobatan secara mandiri yang dilakukan seseorang untuk mengobati suatu penyakit yang dialaminya tanpa berkonsultasi ke dokter. Swamedikasi ini sering terjadi kesalahan akibat pemilihan obat serta dosis yang kurang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pelayanan swamedikasi di Apotek X Kota Tangerang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian observasional deskriptif dengan pengambilan data prospektif. Parameter inklusi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh pasien Apotek X Kota Tangerang. Sementara parameter ekslusi yaitu pasien membeli obat bebas dan obat bebas terbatas tanpa swamedikasi serta obat keras dengan resep dokter. Data sampel 105 pasien adalah total sampling selama satu bulan penuh. Hasil penelitian pelaksanaan swamedikasi ini yaitu telah ditemukan TTK pada Apotek X kota Tangerang tersebut tidak sesuai memberikan rekomendasi obat bebas terbatas pada 4 pasien, keluhan pasien paling banyak ialah batuk kering dengan persentase 15% dan jenis obat yang direkomendasikan paling banyak dengan persentase 19% tidak sesuai adalah kombinasi obat pseudoephedrin, Chlorpheniramine Maleat (CTM), paracetamol (PCT) dan Guaifenesin terhadap 4 pasien. Sedangkan keluhan seperti batuk berdahak, bersin dan hidung tersumbat, sakit gigi, nyeri otot dan sendi, lemas akibat kekurangan vitamin, diare, gatal akibat jamur, demam, asam lambung berlebih dan radang tenggorokan disertai demam dengan persentase 5% hingga 8% dan rekomendasi obat sudah sesuai/Self-medication is self-medication that is carried out by a person to treat a disease he is experiencing without consulting a doctor. This self-medication often results in errors due to the selection of drugs and inappropriate doses. This study aims to determine the description of self-medication services at Apotek X Tangerang City. This research is a descriptive observational study with prospective data collection. The inclusion parameters in this study were all patients at Apotek X Tangerang City. Meanwhile, the exclusion parameter is that patients buy over-the-counter drugs and limited over-the-counter drugs without self-medication and hard drugs with a doctor's prescription. The sample data for 105 patients is the total sampling for one full month. The results of this study on the implementation of self-medication, it was found that TTK at Apotek X Tangerang city was not suitable for providing recommendations for over-the-counter drugs limited to 4 patients, the most patient complaints were dry cough with a percentage of 15% and the type of medicine recommended at most with a percentage of 19% not appropriate. is a combination of pseudoephedrine, Chlorpheniramine Maleate (CTM), paracetamol (PCT) and Guaifenesin drugs in 4 patients. While complaints such as coughing up phlegm, sneezing and nasal congestion, toothache, muscle and joint pain, weakness due to vitamin deficiency, diarrhea, itching due to fungus, fever, excess stomach acid and sore throat accompanied by fever with a percentage of 5% to 8% and drug recommendations already appropriate.
