Abstract
maupun setelah pandemi COVID – 19. Sebagai kesimpulan, pandemi COVID -19
tidak mempengaruhi kualitas hidup pasien dialisis.

The COVID-19 pandemic has an indirect and direct impact on various aspects of
human survival. Medical services are no exception, especially for patients who need
therapy or treatment with high frequency and intensity in the hospital. This pandemic
can also affect the treatment that must be done by patients such as dialysis therapy.
This is because the hemodialysis unit in the hospital can be a place of transmission of
the COVID-19 virus both to patients and the health workers. This study was
conducted to look at the description of the quality of life and the factors that affect the
quality of life of dialysis patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study that is
going to be conducted, is done so that we can look at the description of the quality of
life and the factors that affect the quality of life itself in the patient's dialysis before
and after the COVID - 19 Pandemic.
This study used a cross sectional method with data that will be collected through the
distribution of online questionnaires through social media and direct questionnaires
interviews to hemodialysis patients at Siloam Hospital Lippo Village Pavilion B using
KDQOL – 36 which has been translated into Indonesian. The data that has been
obtained is processed using the Wilcoxon and Chi Square method using SPSS 28.
The results of the study on the comparison study of the quality of life of dialysis
patients before and after the COVID-19 pandemic in Wilcoxon analysis showed p =
0.123 (> 0.05) which showed that the COVID-19 pandemic did not affect the quality
of life of dialysis patients. In the results of the Chi – square analysis of the factors
that affect the quality of life of dialysis patients, it was found that there were no
significant results between the factors studied and the quality of life of dialysis
patients both before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. In conclusion, the COVID-19
pandemic did not affect quality of life of dialysis patients.
