Teknik Industri merupakan salah satu bidang keilmuan yang sangat dibutuhkan di era perkembangan industri saat ini. Bidang keilmuan Teknik Industri (TI) berfokus pada berbagai komponen dalam sebuah sistem terintegrasi untuk menciptakan nilai tambah. Hal ini menyebabkan TI memiliki cakupan pembelajaran yang sangat luas sehingga banyak orang yang memiliki miskonsepsi mengenai apa yang dipelajari di dalam bidang keilmuan Teknik Industri. Untuk meluruskan dan mengedukasi orang-orang mengenai miskonsepsi tersebut, diperlukannya sebuah media edukatif untuk mengajarkan orang mengenai bidang keilmuan Teknik Industri. Salah satu media edukatif yang dapat menarik perhatian orang adalah dengan menggunakan media permainan. Salah satu jenis permainan tersebut ialah card game atau permainan kartu. Dengan menggunakan media edukatif berupa card game, dirancanglah sebuah permainan dengan basis 14 body of knowledge dari Teknik Industri sebagai pengenalan bidang keilmuan tersebut. Perancangan kartu permainan tersebut melewati berbagai tahapan-tahapan sebelum dapat dijadikan sebuah permainan. Tahapan-tahapan tersebut adalah penentuan konsep permainan, penentuan basis keilmuan yang digunakan, perancangan atribut permainan, uji coba permainan beserta pembuatan prototipenya, dan terakhir uji nilai edukasi yang dimiliki oleh permainan edukasi tersebut. Hasil akhir perancang adalah sebuah card game dengan judul “What is IE?” yang dapat dimainkan untuk mengenalkan bidang keilmuan Teknik Industri tersebut. Melalui hasil uji coba nilai edukasi pemain sebelum dan sesudah permainan, terdapat peningkatan nilai rata-rata pemain sebesar 43% dari rata-rata nilai 50 menjadi 71,54. Saran yang diberikan adalah untuk peneliti selanjutnya yang ingin membawa permainan tersebut ke ranah digital. / Industrial Engineering is one of the most rapidly advancing scientific field in this current age. This scientific field contains a wide scope of learning that most people tends to have a misconception about what do they learn in this Industrial Engineering field. To clear the misunderstanding and educate people about these misconceptions, there is a need of an educational media that can be used to teach about Industrial Engineering. One of the educational media that can be used are through educational games. One of those types of games are card games. Through this card game media, a game with a basis of 14 Industrial Engineering Body of Knowledge were created as an introduction to this scientific field. This designing of a game took several steps before the product could be called a finish goods. Those steps are, choosing the basic concept of the game, choosing the base education media that they want to teach, designing the game attributes, making the prototype and testing those prototypes, and lastly testing the educational value that this educational game has in it. The result that this study has made is a card game with the title of “What is IE?” that can be played as an introduction to the scientific field of Industrial Engineering. Through the educational test of that the players took before and after playing this game, there is an increase of at least 43% of their scores after playing this game from the average score of 50 to 71,54. A suggestion was made to take this research a step further and made a digital version of this game.
