Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari beberapa hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan ±50% perawat kurang puas dalam bekerja dan hasil turn over di Rumah Sakit Siloam Kebon Jeruk mengalami peningkatan. Tujuan penelitian guna mengidentifikasi hubungan faktor intrinsik dari teori Herzberg dengan tingkat kepuasan kerja perawat ruang rawat inap. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Populasi sejumlah 167 perawat dan sampel penelitian ditentukan berdasarkan purposive sampling dengan kriteria perawat ruang rawat inap, pengalaman kerja lebih dari 5 tahun, jenis kelamin pria atau wanita, pendidikan Diploma Tiga (D3) dan Strata Satu (S1) didapatkan sejumlah 63 perawat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional dan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 45,6% perawat cenderung memiliki kepuasan kerja yang tinggi dan sedang. Faktor intrinsik memiliki hubungan dengan tingkat kepuasan kerja (p=0,003). Komponen faktor intrinsik yang memiliki hubungan adalah faktor prestasi (p=0,000), pekerjaan (p=0,021) dan pengembangan (p=0,013). Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu pihak rumah sakit untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja perawat khususnya perawat yang tidak memiliki kepuasan kerja. Penelitian ini juga diharapkan mampu menjadi tambahan literatur untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kepuasan kerja di keperawatan./ The research is motivated from some researcher that show ±50% of nurses still feel dissatisfied at work. The recommendation from this research to help hospital to identify factors that have relationship with job satisfaction. This research also can help as a addition literature to more comprehend about factors that
have relationship with job satisfaction in nursing.
