Salah satu cara untuk menekan angka kematian bayi adalah dengan memberikan makanan terbaik, yaitu air susu ibu (ASI). Proses tumbuh kembang anak merupakan hal penting yang harus diperhatikan sejak dini, mengingat bahwa anak merupakan generasi penerus bangsa memiliki hak untuk mencapai perkembangan yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti lebih lanjut hubungan antara pemberian ASI dengan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak usia 0-2 tahun di Siloam Hospitals Lippo Village. Usia 0-2 tahun adalah usia yang direkomendasikan oleh WHO untuk mendapatkan ASI. Lokasi penelitian dipilih karena Banten merupakan salah satu provinsi yang pernah menempati posisi dengan pemberian ASI rendah. Tujuan Penelitian: Untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara pemberian ASI dengan petumbuhan dan perkembangan anak usia 0-2 tahun. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode studi potong lintang terhadap sampel anak usia 0-2 tahun dari data rekam medis Siloam Hospitals Lippo Village periode Januari 2019 hingga Desember 2022. Hasil: Jumlah sampel yang didapatkan sebesar 135 sampel dengan 53,3% diberi ASI, 58,5% memiliki pertumbuhan normal, dan 64,4% memiliki perkembangan normal. Namun, dari hasil analisis antara pemberian ASI dengan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan, peneliti menemukan nilai p sebesar 0,203 untuk pertumbuhan dan nilai p untuk perkembangan sebesar 0,971 (p>0,05). This study aims to further examine the relationship between breastfeeding and the growth and development of children aged 0-2 years at Siloam Hospitals Lippo Village.
