Eksploitasi adalah pengusahaan, pendayagunaan, pemanfaatan, untuk keuntungan sendiri melalui pemerasan dari tenaga orang lain. Eksploitasi tidak hanya dilakukan terhadap orang dewasa tetapi juga sering dilakukan terhadap anak. Eksploitasi terhadap anak seperti yang tercantum dalam Pasal 13 UU No. 23 Tahun 2002 yang di sempurnakan dengan UU No. 35 Tahun 2014 tentang perubahan atas UU No. 23 Tahun 2002 tentang Perlindungan Anak menjelaskan setiap anak selama dalam pengasuhan orang tua atau wali berhak mendapat perlindungan dari eksploitasi, baik ekonomi maupun seksual seperti yang dijelaskan dalam Ayat 1 huruf B. Terjadi kasus di Kota Palu, Sulawesi Tengah sejak tahun 2014 terdapat sekitar 6 anak berumur 9 tahun hingga 14 tahun mendapat tindakan eksploitasi ekonomi dengan dipekerjakan di perempatan lampu merah. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya hukum yang dapat ditempuh terhadap tindakan eksploitasi ekonomi yang dilakukan terhadap anak yang bekerja sebagai pengemis di Kota Palu Tersebut. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hak – hak anak yang wajib dipenuhi oleh pemerintah berdasarkan UU Perlindungan Anak serta memahami sanksi pidana yang dapat diterapkan terhadap pelanggaran hak – hak anak. / Exploitation is the utilization, for one's own benefit through extortion from other people's labor. Exploitation is not only carried out on adults but also often on children. Exploitation of children as stated in Article 13 UU no. 23 of 2002 which was perfected by UU No. 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to UU No. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection explains that every child during the care of a parent or guardian is entitled to protection from exploitation, both economic and sexual as described in Paragraph 1 letter B. There have been cases in Palu City, Central Sulawesi, since 2014 there have been around 6 children arranged 9 years to 14 years received economic exploitation by being employed at a red light crossroad. This final project aims to determine the legal remedies that can be taken against the actions of economic exploitation committed against children who work as beggars in the City of Palu. This final project aims to find out the rights of children that must be fulfilled by the government based on the Child Protection Act and understand criminal sanctions that can be applied to violations of children's rights.
