Abstract

Pengguna media sosial yang meningkat setiap tahunnya telah menjadi sebuah peluang yang sangat menjanjikan bagi para pemilik bisnis untuk mempromosikan produk maupun jasa yang dimilikinya. Teknologi yang semakin canggih telah membuat bisnis peluang baru di mana muncul alat untuk melakukan transaksi bisnis dikenal dengan istilah electronic commerce (e-commerce). Melalui kemudahan aksesnya, perusahaan dapat lebih mudah menjangkau konsumen secara luas dalam waktu yang jauh lebih singkat. Sehingga kegiatan berbelanja melalui e-commerce ini membawa gaya hidup baru di masyarakat khususnya dalam bidang skincare dan kosmetik. Jumlah penduduk Indonesia yang sangat banyak, telah menjadikan Indonesia sebagai salah satu target pasar bagi perusahaan skincare dan kosmetik. Konsumen wanita Indonesia menyukai produk yang menampilkan komposisi produk yang jelas, produk yang sudah terjamin keamanannya dan memiliki harga yang terjangkau. Melalui kriteria yang disukai oleh para konsumen di Indonesia, brand Somethinc berhasil masuk ke dalam kriteria tersebut. Somethinc memang telah melakukan promosi melalui iklan atau postingan dalam platform media sosialnya, oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh terpaan iklan terhadap keputusan pembelian brand Somethinc. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengambil sample sebanyak 130 orang dengan kriteria yang sudah ditentukan. Pengambilan data menggunakan metode non-probability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling dan hasil perhitungan menggunakan aplikasi SMARTPLS. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dan besar antara terpaan iklan terhadap keputusan pembelian. / The rising number of social media users each year has created a promising opportunity for business owners to promote their products and services. The advancement in technology has led to the emergence of electronic commerce (e- commerce) as a new business platform. This has allowed companies to reach a wider range of consumers in a much shorter time, impacting shopping behaviors, especially in the skincare and cosmetics sectors. With Indonesia's large population, it has become a target market for skincare and cosmetics companies. Indonesian female consumers prefer products with clear compositions, guaranteed safety, and affordable prices. The Somethinc brand has successfully met these criteria. The brand has utilized promotions through advertisements and social media posts. A research was conducted to determine the influence of advertising exposure on purchasing decisions for the Somethinc brand. The study sampled 130 people based on predetermined criteria. Data was collected using a non-probability sampling method with a purposive sampling approach. The SMARTPLS application was used for calculating the results, which indicated a significant and strong influence of advertising exposure on purchasing decisions.
