Penetapan honorarium notaris yang tidak wajar, baik yang terlalu tinggi maupun terlalu rendah, menjadi isu penting dalam profesi notaris. Isu dapat berdampak pada kualitas pelayanan notaris dan citra profesi yang terhormat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas pengaturan standarisasi honorarium jasa pembuatan akta oleh notaris serta pertanggungjawaban bagi notaris yang menetapkan honorarium secara tidak wajar menurut UUJN dan Kode Etik Notaris. Penelitian ini berjenis normatif empiris, menggunakan data primer dan sekunder yang mencakup data primer dan sekunder dari berbagai tingkatan serta informasi dari situs web yang relevan dengan isu hukum yang dibahas. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan studi kepustakaan. Pendekatan yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan terhadap prinsip-prinsip hukum dan analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa standarisasi honorarium jasa pembuatan akta oleh notaris di Indonesia merujuk pada Pasal 36 UUJN. Pasal ini hanya menetapkan tarif maksimum yang didasari pada nilai ekonomis dan nilai sosial akta, tetapi tidak mengatur tarif minimum, sehingga terjadi variasi signifikan dalam praktik di lapangan. Hal ini menunjukkan perlunya standar yang lebih jelas dan adil serta pendekatan yang lebih fleksibel dengan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor ekonomi dan sosial lokal. Selain itu, tanggung jawab notaris dalam menetapkan honorarium yang wajar didasarkan pada Pasal 36 UUJN, yang mengatur bahwa notaris harus menetapkan honorarium dengan adil sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan, sedangkan Pasal 4 Kode Etik Notaris menekankan pentingnya penetapan honorarium yang tidak merugikan klien. Pelanggaran terhadap aturan-aturan hukum ini dapat dikenakan sanksi administratif sesuai UUJN dan sanksi etika dalam Kode Etik Notaris, yang bertujuan untuk menjaga integritas profesi dan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap layanan notaris. / Determining unreasonable notary honorariums, whether too high or too low, is an important issue in the notary profession. Issues can impact the quality of notary services and the image of a respectable profession. This research aims to discuss the standardization of honorarium for deed-making services by notaries as well as accountability for notaries who determine the honorarium unreasonably according to UUJN and the Notary Code of Ethics. This research is an empirical normative type, using primary and secondary data which includes primary and secondary data from various levels as well as information from websites that are relevant to the legal issues discussed. Data was collected through interviews and literature study. The approach applied in this research is an approach to legal principles and analysis. The research results show that the standardization of honorarium for deed-making services by notaries in Indonesia refers to Article 36 UUJN. This article only sets a maximum tariff based on the economic and social value of the deed, but does not regulate the minimum tariff, so there are significant variations in practice in the field. This shows the need for clearer and fairer standards and a more flexible approach that takes local economic and social factors into account. In addition, the notary's responsibility in determining a reasonable honorarium is based on Article 36 notary position law, which regulates that notaries must determine honorariums fairly in accordance with established standards, while Article 4 of the Notary Code of Ethics emphasizes the importance of determining honorariums that do not harm clients. Violations of these legal rules may be subject to administrative sanctions in accordance with the notary position law and ethical sanctions in the Notary Code of Ethics, which aims to maintain the integrity of the profession and public trust in notary services.
