Abstract

Perkembangan agroindustri yang semakin pesat membuat dunia diperhadapkan dengan kebutuhan akan teknologi yang semakin besar pula. Pada sektor peternakan ayam, muncul berbagai permasalahan yang dimulai dari proses pemberian pakan, pasokan air bersih untuk ayam, penanggulangan hasil produksi telur, sampai ke pengelolaan hasil buangan, sebagian besar terjadi kesalahan pada human error. Sehubungan dengan masalah di atas dibutuhkan solusi sebuah perangkat pintar khususnya dalam proses pasokan air bersih untuk ayam, dalam permasalahannya ayam mempunyai kebutuhan air setiap harinya sekitar 80% dari kebutuhan pasokan gizinya. Oleh karena itu air merupakan suatu hal yang sangat penting, tetapi pada kenyataanya di lapangan sering terjadi human error yang menyebabkan pasokan airnya terganggu. Penelitian ini membahas sistem pasokan air minum otomatis untuk kandang unggas. Penelitian ini merupakan prototipe yang menggunakan Arduino UNO sebagai mikrokontroler, sensor level air sebagai pendeteksi perubahan volume air di dalam pipa, flow sensor sebagai pendeteksi keadaan pipa apakah terjadi kebocoran atau tidak. Prinsip kerja sistem ini adalah mendeteksi keadaan pipa apakah terisi dengan air atau tidak, dan sistem dapat mencegah level air di dalam pipa agar tidak kurang atau berlebihan, selain itu sistem juga dapat mengetahui apakah ada kebocoran atau tidak di antara rangkaian pipa nipple. Cara kerja sistem pasokan air minum otomatis ini bekerja dengan cara menerima masukan dari sensor water level untuk mengetahui seberapa besar debit air di dalam pipa yang kemudian disesuaikan dengan buka tutup valve agar tidak terjadi kekosongan atau airnya berlebihan. Dengan waterflow sensor kita dapat mengetahui kebocoran. Jika angka nilai analog pada sensor menunjukkan adanya kenaikan. Tingkat keberhasilan sistem dalam berkomunikasi antara Arduino UNO dengan alat elektronika lainnya adalah 100%. Akurasi sensor level air adalah 90% dalam pengecekan level air. Tingkat keberhasilan flow sensor dalam mendeteksi keadaan pipa bocor atau tidak adalah 100%. / The rapid development of agro-industry has made the world faced with the need for a greater technology. In the poultry sector, some various cases that start out from the feeding process, the supply of clean water for chickens, the countermeasures of egg production, to the management of waste products. Mostly due to mistakes by human error. Regarding to the above problems we need a solution of a smart device specifically in the process of water supply for chickens. Chickens have a daily requirement of water about 80% of its nutritional supply needs. Therefore water is a very important thing, but the fact in the field, often human error causes the water supply disrupted. This study discusses the automatic drinking water supply system for poultry cage is a prototype that uses Arduino UNO as microcontroller, water level sensor as detector for change of water volume inside the pipe, flow sensor as pipe detector whether leakage occurs or not. The working principle of this system is to detect the state of the pipe whether filled with water or not, and the system can prevent the water level in the pipe to be no less or excessive. In addition the system can also determine whether there is leakage or not between the pipeline nipple. This automatic drinking water supply works by receiving input from the water level sensor to find out how much water filled in the pipe, which then adjusted by opening the valve cover to avoid vacuum or water overload. With water flow sensor we can find leakage if the value Analog on the sensor shows an increase. The success rate of the system in communicating between Arduino UNO and other electronics is 100%. Accuracy of water level sensors in water level checks is 90%. The success rate of the flow sensor in detecting the state of the leaking pipe is 100%.
