Abstract

Dalam proyek Tugas Akhir ini dilakukan rancang bangun robot mobil yang mampu melakukan gerakan berdasarkan perintah dari PC dengan komunikasi secara nirkabel. Robot mobil mampu melakukan dua gerakan, yaitu berputar dan maju. Pergerakan dari robot didukung oleh dua buah motor DC yang dikendalikan melalui modul kontroler motor DC buatan DFRobot yang terhubung kepada Arduino Yun. Untuk berkomunikasi secara nirkabel dengan PC, robot menggunakan Arduino Yun yang telah dilengkapi dengan kemampuan untuk terhubung ke WiFi atau Ethernet. Robot ini bekerja dengan dimulai dengan keadaan standby, pada keadaan ini robot menunggu perintah dari PC yang akan disampaikan dengan komunikasi nirkabel. Perintah yang akan diterima robot adalah perintah berupa nilai yang dibutuhkan robot untuk bergerak maju atau rotasi. Setelah robot menerima perintah dari PC, maka proses pengolahan perintah dari PC akan diproses pada Arduino Yun. Hasil dari proses akan berupa data untuk mengontrol motor DC dan pada akhirnya motor DC akan menggerakan robot. Dari sejumlah pengujian yang dilakukan, dapat dikatakan robot bekerja cukup baik, walaupun masih ada beberapa hal yang tidak sesuai dengan harapan. Pengujian ketepatan robot menjelaskan bahwa error dari robot tidak dapat diperkirakan atau dapat dikatakan bahwa nilai error selalu berubah-ubah. Walaupun nilai error berubah-ubah, tetapi dari hasil pengujian bisa didapatkan bahwa nilai error akan semakin besar seiring dengan semakin besarnya jarak atau sudut yang harus ditempuh robot. Selain itu, semakin berkurangnya daya dari baterai Mi-Cd juga menjadi salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan nilai error akan bertambah. / In this final project a mobile robot is designed to be capable of performing the movements based on commands from a PC through wireless communication. Mobile robot capable to performing two movements, which is rotate and move forward. The movements of the robot are powered by two DC motors that are controlled through DC motor controller module that made by DFRobot and it is connected to the Arduino Yun. To communicate wirelessly with a PC, the robot use the Arduino Yun that already equipped with the ability to connect to Wi-Fi or Ethernet. This robot works by starting with a standby position, in this state the robot is waiting for commands from the PC that will be delivered through wireless communication. Commands that will be received by the robot is a command that contain the required value to move the robot forward or rotation. Once the robot receives command from the PC, the commands order will be processed in the Arduino Yun. The results of the process are datas to control DC motors and DC motors will ultimately drive the robot to move. From the number of tests performed, the robot is worked quite well, although there are still some things that are not reach the expectations. The accuracy test of the robot explain that the error of the robot cannot be estimated or it can be said that the error value is always changing. Although the error rate varies, but the test results show that the error rate will increase in line with the magnitude of the distance or angle that must be performed by robot. In addition, the decreasing power of Mi-Cd battery is also be one of the factors that cause the error value to increase.
